As a general point, absolutely not. However, if I were accused of a specific murder I would be able to demonstrate to a court, beyond reasonable doubt, that I had not committed that murder.Can you prove you aren't a murderer?
Cool! This is very good! Test everything until proven true or false, right or wrong. This has worked perfectly for several decades,
and for others throughout the centuries too. (it is very good advice)

I would not have proven I had not committed the murder, but I would be declared "not guilty". There is an analagous situation with scientific theories. These can never be proven, but the individual facts on which they are based can be established beyond reasonable doubt. It then becomes unreasonable to withhold provisional acceptance of the theory.

Granted, you were at the benefit for the Wayne Foundation in Gotham that night, and the murder was committed in the middle of Central Mongolia, and true, you only stepped out for five minutes to use the bathroom, and that was your only possible window of opportunity, but can we really be sure you don't have a super advanced rocket ship that lets you travel around the world in a few seconds? I dismiss it offhand because you haven’t presented any credible evidence for it. You just keep stating that it’s the truth. How do you know it’s true? You’re not going to convince skeptics of anything if all you’ve got is “but I swear it’s true!”Because it's God's Truth which agrees with Science and History. You will need to explain this to me. If you "test" something until proven true or false, but nothing is proven, do you mean that there are two possible outcomes?Note I posted "test" everything UNTIL proven true or false,
not "prove" anything. This makes all the difference as you might find out one day soon. (or later).

What standards of proof do you require? That you make the statement you have just made suggests you do not understand what "proof" is from a technical standpoint, but use the word in a simplistic, informal sense. That does not aid serious and sensible discussion.I would need proof you never murdered anyone.

The very strange ideas many posters have that directly contradict Scripture and quite obviously cannot be true are still taught in many schools on earth and give a lot of encouragement to continue in the wrong ways. There is nothing we can do about this though - free will cannot be taken away.
