Just curious. As you can see from my profile, I am in between churches. I should really get off my butt and attend church, but lately churches are so political I am disgusted.

Anyway, I have been bell ringing for The Salvation ARmy for the past 3 Christmases and Like the fact you folks actually DO somethng for people...

My question is, how do Salvation Army folks view other denomnations??

Hi

I can only speak for myself - I treasure my contact and connections with other denominations. I'm a novice in an Anglican/Ecumenical Order, have a Catholic Sister as a spiritual director, and am doing a theology degree through a Baptist College. But I know I feel called to the Salvation Army and that is where my heart belongs and where I live my vocation on a daily basis. I hope this helps!

Warmest blessings

From my short time in the SA, I've found that most salvationists seem to have the same opinion of other denominations as I have always had. They're brothers and sisters in Christ, fellow members of the Body.
This is how I understand that the Salvos view other denominations. This is also how I have viewed other denominations regardless of which denomination I've been attending.

ps welcome back elmo. are you up for some rabbit hunting sometime?
