Peace in Christ.

They….the man-based churches…call themselves of the holy city (Jerusalem).

They make mention of the God of Israel. They swear by the name of the LORD. But they do these things not in Truth nor in righteousness. The LORD of hosts....armies.... is His name as He uses the outside nations around us to execute judgment.

Isa 48:1-2 KJV
(1) Hear ye this, O house of Jacob, which are called by the name of Israel, and are come forth out of the waters of Judah, which swear by the name of the LORD, and make mention of the God of Israel, but not in truth, nor in righteousness.

(2) For they call themselves of the holy city, and stay themselves upon the God of Israel; The LORD of hosts is his name.

We are supposed to be the salt of the earth….among the people of the outside world. But if that salt loses his “savor”…that is, become foolish….then how shall it be made salty again?

“lost his savour” = Greek: mōrainō - From G3474; to become insipid; figuratively to make (passively act) as a simpleton: - become fool, make foolish, lose savour.

When His people profess themselves as “wise” to go and keep their “church’s” handwritings of ordinances, they become foolish. We become "good for nothing". We become desolate.

The outside world then casts us out and we are trodden under the foot of men. They rule over us instead of us ruling over them in Christ….and they speak evil of us when they should be seeing us and praising God.

Mat 5:13-14 KJV
(13) Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.

We are supposed to be the light of the world…a city (Jerusalem) set on a hill that cannot be hid.

But if we go and serve man’s church handwritings of ordinances, we are made desolate of the glory of God that is supposed to lighten us…..making us a light to the people of the outside.

(14) Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.

When we keep and serve the abomination of desolation, we become a reproach to all that are about us…the outside nations that are encircling us…because of the church fathers’ handwritings (their iniquities). They hate us. They revile us. They mock us.

Dan 9:16 KJV
(16) O Lord, according to all thy righteousness, I beseech thee, let thine anger and thy fury be turned away from thy city Jerusalem, thy holy mountain: because for our sins, and for the iniquities of our fathers, Jerusalem and thy people are become a reproach to all that are about us.

We become a byword among all the nations. We become an “astonishment”…that is, a waste …a ruin….a desolation.

Deu 28:37 KJV
(37) And thou shalt become an astonishment, a proverb, and a byword, among all nations whither the LORD shall lead thee.

We must not go after “other gods”….the weak and beggarly principles found in the church handwritings of ordinances.

We are to instead hear and do His commandments which are written upon our hearts and minds so that we are not “beneath” the nations around us. If we do His commandments (and not our denominations’ handwritings of ordinances), then He will make us the head in this world and not the tail.

Deu 28:13-14 KJV
(13) And the LORD shall make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath; if that thou hearken unto the commandments of the LORD thy God, which I command thee this day, to observe and to do them:

(14) And thou shalt not go aside from any of the words which I command thee this day, to the right hand, or to the left, to go after other gods to serve them.

When we go to a man-based church that serve its “images”….its “other gods”…that is, it’s handwritings of ordinances, we are exchanging the glory of God for their image made like the outside world’s (“corruptible man”) documents by which they self-govern and self-judge themselves (such as constitutions.)

The glory of God does not appear over the man-based churches nor their people who attend them. The glory of God has departed from them leaving them desolate.

Rom 1:22-23 KJV
(22) Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,

(23) And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.

All that go to them dishonor themselves instead. We become unclean. The glory of God is not there to lighten them. The glory of God has departed.

Rom 1:24 KJV
(24) Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:

The outside world now speaks evil of us. They tread us down under their feet. We must go outside the “camp” for we have no continuing city in the man-based churches who are calling themselves of the holy city. We seek a New Jerusalem instead….one that rules in this world.

Heb 13:13-14 KJV
(13) Let us go forth therefore unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach.

(14) For here have we no continuing city, but we seek one to come.

“Jerusalem” is now encircled “with” (Greek: hupo- under) ….that is, UNDER or beneath…armies….the outside nations surrounding us.

They are treading us down with their feet until the times of the nations (gentiles) is fulfilled. They war against us….and prevail.

“Armies” = Greek: stratopedon – From the base of “stratia” and the same as “pedinos”; a camping ground, that is, (by implication) a body of troops: - army.

“Pedinos” - From a derivative of “pous” which means “foot”. the ground; level (as easy for the feet): - plain.

The “foot” of the armies…the nations… surrounding us are the feet of the nations that trample us down as they speak evil of us in their contempt. All nations hate us because of His name. Matthew 24:9

Luke 21:20 speaks of the consequence of keeping and serving of the abomination of desolation in our holy places…in our worship of God.

It’s desolation is nigh….or at hand now.

When we understand this, we are to depart out of the man-based churches who are currently desolate of the glory of God and are beneath the feet of the nations that are trampling them down. By doing so, we seek a continuing city…a New Jerusalem…on the is head of this world and not the tail.

Luk 21:20-22
(20) And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with (UNDER) armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh.
(21) Then let them which are in Judaea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto.

(22) For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.

This is explained (Jerusalem compassed under armies) a couple of verses later: Jerusalem shall be trodden down “of” (Greek: hupo - UNDER, beneath) the nations (the “armies”) until the time of the nations be fulfilled.

They rule over us. They speak evil of us….until the times of the nations be fulfilled.

We fall by the “edge”…that is, the mouth …of the sword of those of the outside world who war against us as they revile us.

We are led away captive to all nations….we serve the false prophets among all the nations who rule over us ( and not the other way around).

Luk 21:24
(24) And they shall fall by the edge (mouth) of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down “of” (Greek: hupo – UNDER, beneath) the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.

We are in the middle of the nations and countries round about us.

Eze 5:5-7 KJV
(5) Thus saith the Lord GOD; This is Jerusalem: I have set it in the midst of the nations and countries that are round about her.
(6) And she hath changed my judgments into wickedness more than the nations, and my statutes more than the countries that are round about her: for they have refused my judgments and my statutes, they have not walked in them.

(7) Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Because ye multiplied more than the nations that are round about you, and have not walked in my statutes, neither have kept my judgments, neither have done according to the judgments of the nations that are round about you;

We have defiled His sanctuary with all our detestable things….our church handwritings of ordinances. We are then "diminished" among the nations of this world.

Eze 5:11 KJV
(11) Wherefore, as I live, saith the Lord GOD; Surely, because thou hast defiled my sanctuary with all thy detestable things, and with all thine abominations, therefore will I also diminish thee; neither shall mine eye spare, neither will I have any pity.

And so we have become a reproach among the nations that are around us….we have become a “waste”….a desolation.

Eze 5:14-15 KJV
(14) Moreover I will make thee waste, and a reproach among the nations that are round about thee, in the sight of all that pass by.

(15) So it shall be a reproach and a taunt, an instruction and an astonishment unto the nations that are round about thee, when I shall execute judgments in thee in anger and in fury and in furious rebukes. I the LORD have spoken it.

We are now considered “dust” among the nations that hate us and trample us under their feet. All that pass by us “hiss and wag their head”…

Lam 2:15-17 KJV
(15) All that pass by clap their hands at thee; they hiss and wag their head at the daughter of Jerusalem, saying, Is this the city that men call The perfection of beauty, The joy of the whole earth?

(16) All thine enemies have opened their mouth against thee: they hiss and gnash the teeth: they say, We have swallowed her up: certainly this is the day that we looked for; we have found, we have seen it.

This is the time of the gentiles…the time of the nations that rule over us and speak evil of us…the days of His vengeance.

(17) The LORD hath done that which he had devised; he hath fulfilled his word that he had commanded in the days of old: he hath thrown down, and hath not pitied: and he hath caused thine enemy to rejoice over thee, he hath set up the horn of thine adversaries.

They “wag their heads…just as they did to Jesus on the cross. We…the temple of His body….are being subjected to the same reviling from those who “pass by us.”

Mat 27:39 KJV
(39) And they that passed by reviled him, wagging their heads,

The soldiers (the "coil" of soldiers around us)…the nations around us…make fun of us (as they did Jesus). They put a crown of thorns upon His head….signifying the ruling of the outside nations over us. They produce thorns toward us as they rule over us…and they make fun of our supposed “authority” over them.

Mat 27:27-31 KJV
(27) Then the soldiers of the governor took Jesus into the common hall, and gathered unto him the whole band (COIL) of soldiers.
(28) And they stripped him, and put on him a scarlet robe.
(29) And when they had platted a crown of thorns, they put it upon his head, and a reed in his right hand: and they bowed the knee before him, and mocked him, saying, Hail, King of the Jews!
(30) And they spit upon him, and took the reed, and smote him on the head.

(31) And after that they had mocked him, they took the robe off from him, and put his own raiment on him, and led him away to crucify him.
