And what leads you to repentance? Understanding that you crucified Christ through your sins.
Also know that corruption cannot inherit incorruption. You must overcome if you have the faith and power to do so. Who really believes that Christ was resurrected from the dead? Those who know God. Where is this knowledge, that one may see, know, and believe. It is written according to the law and the prophets. But where?
That's right, and throughout scripture.

Then apostles Paul and Peter were the anti-Christ. For they wrote Romans 3:21-26, 1 Corinthians 15:1-4, and 1 Peter 2:24, 1 Peter 3:18.

You don't have any idea what your talking about. Lets look at 1 Cor. 15.

1Co 15:3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;

He did not die or take your place and punishment!

Deu 24:16 The fathers shall not be put to death for the children, neither shall the children be put to death for the fathers: every man shall be put to death for his own sin.

Otherwise, why would Paul say this:

Rom 6:1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?
Rom 6:2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?

Offerings for sin are brought to the door of the tabernacle, and if you kill an offering and don't bring it to the door, well:

Lev 17:3 What man soever there be of the house of Israel, that killeth an ox, or lamb, or goat, in the camp, or that killeth it out of the camp,
Lev 17:4 And bringeth it not unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, to offer an offering unto the LORD before the tabernacle of the LORD; blood shall be imputed unto that man; he hath shed blood; and that man shall be cut off from among his people:

Will you proclaim at the door or come before God and say: Thanks for killing your son in my stead because I am a poor miserable sinner or will you be as David:

Psa 51:1 To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David, when Nathan the prophet came unto him, after he had gone in to Bathsheba. Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions.
Psa 51:2 Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin.
Psa 51:3 For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me.
Psa 51:4 Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest.
Psa 51:5 Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.
Psa 51:6 Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom.
Psa 51:7 Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.
Psa 51:8 Make me to hear joy and gladness; that the bones which thou hast broken may rejoice.
Psa 51:9 Hide thy face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities.
Psa 51:10 Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.
Psa 51:11 Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me.

There is no coming near to God if you don't flee from sin, the reason for all this mess, as well as death. Christ is not returning to save sinners, but rather those who turn from sin and overcome:

Heb 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
Heb 9:28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.

Therefore if you do not die with Christ because of your sin and fail to put away sin, Christ return will not bring you joy of heart.
The snare of anti-christ lures men into complacency and acceptance of sin and catch men unawares, but while they wait in their sins, they will perish.

Luk 21:34 And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.
Luk 21:35 For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.
Luk 21:36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

All sinners must put to death(overcome) the object of the offence that crucified Christ: Our sin.

Heb 10:26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,

That's right, and throughout scripture.

But there are specific scriptures and there is much confusion about the world, but one may do well if one knows that ALL SCRIPTURE is concerned with righteousness, old and new, that is: the law is spiritual.

Rom 7:14 For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin.

Understanding is when the Spirit reveals Christ through the law and prophets:

Isa 8:20 To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.

2Ti 3:15 And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
2Ti 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
2Ti 3:17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

Alice: "I just wanted to ask which way I ought to go."

Cheshire Cat: "Well that depends on where you want to get to."

Alice: "Oh, it really doesn't matter as long as I-"

Cheshire Cat: "Then it really doesn't matter which way you go."

If God is calling you to Christ? Has he caused you to hear His Word? If not, then you will take advice from the multitude of deceivers just waiting to mislead you into their web of deceit.

Do this:
Pray to God for crucifying His Son through your sins, and ask for His guidance in your death (because of sin), for the wages of sin are death, ask for understanding, be patient, and stay clear of those who say their Christians. Christ has already appeared to redeem sinners, and He shall return to destroy sin, the enemies of righteousness. Pray for the restoration of God's people. Those who say that Christ died in their stead are the anti-Christ. All Christians must overcome sin, but deceivers have destroyed the true gospel. Questions? Please ask.
Hello, sure I have a question? So explain Christ's atonement, sacrifice, and becoming a curse for us? Why is it anti-christ to say Christ died in our stead?

Analogy: God was displeased with animal sacrifices used to pay for their sins. So if you sinned, just go offer a goat and that would take care of it. You did what the law required so its ok to sin, just go offer another goat, right. Christ and His sacrifice used the same way today through substitutionalism.
Christ, His blood is spilt by sinners every day, and what should be done about that? Should we continue in sin that grace can abound. It is the Spirit of life, like blood, that leads a Christian and washes one from sin.

1Co 6:11 And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.

Christ spoke of eating His flesh and drinking His blood, but gives a hint to which He really is indicating:

Joh 6:55 For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed.
Joh 6:56 He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him.
Joh 6:57 As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me.

Joh 6:63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

The Spirit is in God's word and that is where you will find the truth, and if you obey, you can come clean:

1Pe 1:22 Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently:

Thanks for sharing. I agree with some points here, but I also disagree with some points here as well. Yes, God is displeased with animal sacrifices (Psalms 40). God clothed Adam & Eve in animal skin, which is indicative of being them being clothed in the Righteousness of Christ!

Hebrews 10:10And by that will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

So there is no spilling his blood everyday. It was done once!

"... for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, whom God put forward as a propitiation by his blood, to be received by faith. This was to show God's righteousness, because in his divine forbearance he had passed over former sins." Romans 3:23-25

Since man is totally incapable of satisfying God’s justice except by spending eternity in hell, there is no service, sacrifice, or gift that man can offer that will appease the holy wrath of God or satisfy His perfect justice. The only satisfaction, or propitiation, that could be acceptable to God and that could reconcile man to Him had to be made by God. For this reason God the Son, Jesus Christ, came into the world in human flesh to be the perfect sacrifice for sin and make atonement or “propitiation for the sins of the people” (Hebrews 2:17). (Got Questions)

In Galatians 3, we read that the person who is trying to live through the Law before God and merit Salvation, has too perfectly obey the WHOLE Law.

The Righteous Shall Live by Faith

10For all who rely on works of the law are under a curse; for it is written, “Cursed be everyone who does not abide by all things written in the Book of the Law, and do them.11Now it is evident that no one is justified before God by the law, for “The righteous shall live by faith.” 12But the law is not of faith, rather “The one who does them shall live by them.” 13Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us—for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who is hanged on a tree”— 14so that in Christ Jesus the blessing of Abraham might come to the Gentiles, so that we might receive the promised Spirit through faith.

Faith Alone in Christ Alone is our salvation! Not only did Christ become a curse for us, but he also gives us HIS righteousness that clothes us before a Holy Righteous God. So by Christ's sacrifice he propitiates God's wrath (God's righteous justice against sin is satisfied), and by His imputed righteousness into our account reconciles us to the Father! Unless you are perfectly holy you will not see the Father.
1Co 6:11 And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.

Christ spoke of eating His flesh and drinking His blood, but gives a hint to which He really is indicating:

Joh 6:56 He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him.

1Pe 1:22 Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently:

Exactly we are sanctified and justified in Christ Alone! Why? Because God demands perfect holiness, and he will not lower his standard of holiness to let us in. This is why Christ came to be both for us in order to redeem us from our plight from the fall.

1 Cor. 1:30 It is because of him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from Godthat is, our righteousness, holiness and redemption. 31Therefore, as it is written: “Let the one who boasts boast in the Lord.”

Am I denying good works of the believer? Am I saying, go ahead and sin? Certainly not! I like Romans 6,

Dead to Sin, Alive in Christ

1What shall we say, then? Shall we go on sinning so that grace may increase? 2By no means! We are those who have died to sin; how can we live in it any longer? 3Or don’t you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? 4We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.

But the Christian life always with Christ as the centerpiece, not our works!

Hope this helps???

God Bless!

Greetings:
Adam and Eve would never no the righteousness of Christ, but rather the corruption in their flesh.

Christ died because of sinners. Those who continue to sin are like putting Him back on the cross.

Heb 10:26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,
Heb 10:27 But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.
Heb 10:28 He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:
Heb 10:29 Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?

Note, the relation between the sinner and the offering of Christ. The death of Christ should be in your conscience to avoid sin. Not a substitution or an unfair act of injustice by a cruel God who would make the just perish so He can forgive the unjust. Everyone must die for their own sins:

Deu 24:16 The fathers shall not be put to death for the children, neither shall the children be put to death for the fathers: every man shall be put to death for his own sin.

That last scripture should bury the doctrine of substitution. Satan loves that doctrine for it invalidates the death of Christ to turn man from sin, and one might think to take His death for granted.

Satan probably has a good laugh considering imputed righteousness. Imaginary righteousness, I call it.
Righteousness is doing God's will. Christ, His offering that was pleasing to the Father was the performing of His will, an eternal offering of which all those called to the body of Christ shall perform forever. As the prayer says: Thy will, it shall be done, on Earth as is in heaven.

Heb 10:7 Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God.
Heb 10:8 Above when he said, Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offering for sin thou wouldest not, neither hadst pleasure therein; which are offered by the law;
Heb 10:9 Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second.
Heb 10:10 By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

The body of Christ is sanctified in doing the will of God, for this is an acceptable offering:

Rom 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
Rom 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

It is the sacrifice of praise.

Col 4:12 Epaphras, who is one of you, a servant of Christ, saluteth you, always labouring fervently for you in prayers, that ye may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God.

Adios, friend, I now have to turn my attention to making a resume.

So you are saying that all believers cannot sin anymore? That they need to be perfectly sinless by their own efforts?

Can you clarify this?

To know Christ and His righteousness, they would have had to eaten from the tree of life and be clothed in white linen.

So you are saying that all believers cannot sin anymore? That they need to be perfectly sinless by their own efforts?

I'm saying true Christians do not want to serve sin anymore or sin from their heart. They may error, but they know that God is the God of righteousness and not sin. The world is Satan's the deceiver, and sin is everywhere. Do you think sin will be allowed in the kingdom of God?

1Co 15:50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
1Co 15:51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
1Co 15:52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
1Co 15:53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
1Co 15:54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.

The doctrines that allow sin to flourish will be dissolved. What doctrines don't? The world is full of sin. Judgment is needed to see:

Joh 9:39 And Jesus said, For judgment I am come into this world, that they which see not might see; and that they which see might be made blind.

Rev 14:6 And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people,
Rev 14:7 Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.

The execution of judgment is what is lacking in all doctrines for they are all in the dark. Christ warned that night was coming:

Joh 9:4 I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.

I guess, that with all the church's in the world, that night could ever come anytime soon?

The Reformed position does not promote sin. We just, do not find our assurance in our works before God. We find our assurance only in Christ Alone! Am I denying the believer's works? Not at all. Our Justification, our sanctification and redemption is in Christ Alone! Do you believe that God has a plan of Redemption?

By having crucifying Christ, the sin offering, everyone crucified Christ through their sin. That is the free gift of righteousness, if one believes ones sins is responsible for the death of the sin offering (Christ), one should repent or the blood is still on his hands. If you have not taken action to correct this understanding, Christ blood is still on your hands.

Lev 17:8 And thou shalt say unto them, Whatsoever man there be of the house of Israel, or of the strangers which sojourn among you, that offereth a burnt offering or sacrifice,
Lev 17:9 And bringeth it not unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, to offer it unto the LORD; even that man shall be cut off from among his people.

Rev 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

Gal 2:17 But if, while we seek to be justified by Christ, we ourselves also are found sinners, is therefore Christ the minister of sin? God forbid.

Offering Christ and repentance is an act of justification, an sin offering is an act of righteousness that by the grace of God is for the purpose to turn sinners away from sin. Unless you believe this, you will continue in your sins.
There does need to be a restoration at this time.

Christ return will fulfill the redemption to those who wait for Him.

Luk 21:28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.

Christ return will fulfill the redemption to those who wait for Him.

Luk 21:28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.
I am asking questions, but I am not getting them answered. So I will attempt one more time.

How is a sinner justified before before a Holy Righteous God?

I guess I'm not going to give you the answer you want to hear. Justification through your sin:

The problem you have with this ( and I have to make this plain as possible) the error of misunderstanding on this topic is common with the world that tries to cover up their sins and hide in a false contrived righteousness.
As Adam sinned and all men who followed, they died for their sins, But Christ who was righteous and offered as a sin offering, brought forth for the justification of sinners.

Rom 5:14 Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come.
Rom 5:15 But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.
Rom 5:16 And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift: for the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offences unto justification.
Rom 5:17 For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)
Rom 5:18 Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.
Rom 5:19 For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.
Rom 5:20 Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound:
Rom 5:21 That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.

By the giving of the law, sin increased, but according to the law, the sin offering is commanded to sinners and that is justification to those who repent and turn from their sin, for that they crucified Christ through their sins. They (all sinners) died with him on the cross for the wages of sin is death. Through their sins they became righteous! Grace! Really very simple but satan and His disciples just hate this wisdom.

Rom 6:1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?
Rom 6:2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?

I guess I'm not going to give you the answer you want to hear.
Its not about a answer I want to hear. I just want to know your understanding, of HOW a sinner is justified before a Holy Righteous God? God will not lower his standard of perfect holiness to let us in. Please address these points.
Justification through your sin:
Justification through my sin? No, condemnation through your sin. Justification come through righteousness.
I beg to differ, One Man bought sin, death & condemnation.

One Man bought righteousness, life & Justification.
Rom 5:14 Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come.
And there was no law between this time. But where there is no law, there is no sin. But death still reigned on those between Adam & Moses where there was no law. Why? Because of the imputation of Adam's Sin to his progeny.
[/QUOTE]
Exactly, One Act of disobedience bought sin, death, and condemnation.

And after many sins, by One Act of Righteousness bought righteousness, life and justification.

This is the Last Adam's doing, not ours!

Rom 5:17 For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)
AMEN!!!
Rom 5:18 Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.
AMEN!
Rom 5:19 For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.
BY ONE MAN'S OBEDIENCE, WE ARE MADE RIGHTEOUS!
Rom 5:20 Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound:
Rom 5:21 That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.
AMEN to that!!! So when we fall into sin, Grace much more abounds!
I have to admit that the way you write here is perplexing & eccentric. We are not justified by 'OUR' repentance or by any of our evangelical obedience. We are justified solely by the merits of Christ and him crucified.

The most common mistake people make is trying to locate salvation in response to the Gospel, rather than in the Gospel itself; who Jesus said he is, and what he accomplished.
Rom 6:1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?
Rom 6:2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?
Now comes the fruit of our justification in Christ Alone! Because we are in Union with Christ. But these fruits/ Good works are not the cause of our Salvation, they are the effects of it. Our salvation lies solely in Christ Alone!

Hello,

I don't feel very motivated in life because I just don't know what could happen in the future. Right now, I do believe and love God, but because of my great sin, I feel that in the future I might fall away from God. I'd just like to know what any of you people have to say about the questions below. If any of you could answer these for me, I'd really appreciate it. Thank you!

1. God says in Ephesians 2:8-9: For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast. God is saying that it is not our doing that earns us salvation, but only Jesus' doing. But God says several times in the Bible that I must believe in the Lord, Jesus to be saved. Isn't believing in Jesus my doing? And I'm a sinner, so I don't trust my own doing. What if, because I'm a sinner, I don't believe in Jesus in the future?

2. Based on question 1 above, is there anything in the Bible that could give me confidence that I won't lose salvation in the future?

3. What do you all think about "once saved, always saved"? If I am saved now, will I always be saved? Can my salvation be taken away from me? Below are two links regarding this topic, one from gotquestions.org and wels.net . gotquestions.org (a very popular online Christian FAQ) says that once you are saved, you are always saved. The link provides a lot of Bible references too. But wels.net , also providing a lot of Bible references, says that a Christian can fall from the faith. The links are right below:

https://www.gotquestions.org/once-saved-always-saved.html

https://wels.net/faq/position-on-once-saved-always-saved/

Could you give a biblical answer on which of the links, if any of them, is correct?

------

To be honest, I'm kind of in panic mode. I don't want to do good works my entire life just to be confident that God would be pleased with me. I know God loves me. But with the unanswered questions above, I don't know if I will love God in the future. I ask that you take the time to answer these questions when you get the chance. Thank you again!

Remember your Baptism.

"For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ." - Galatians 3:27

Cling to Jesus. He alone saves you.
Look to Jesus. He alone saves you.
Cleave to Jesus. He alone saves you.

When you are done, remember your Baptism again. And again. And again. And again.

When the devil comes at you throwing doubt and despair your way, tell him, "I am baptized, I belong to Jesus Christ." For the devil is a coward, St. James says "Resist the devil and he will flee."

Speak with your pastor, study the Confessions, read the Scriptures, remember your Baptism.

Good question:

Lev 4:27 And if any one of the common people sin through ignorance, while he doeth somewhat against any of the commandments of the LORD concerning things which ought not to be done, and be guilty;
Lev 4:28 Or if his sin, which he hath sinned, come to his knowledge: then he shall bring his offering, a kid of the goats, a female without blemish, for his sin which he hath sinned.
Lev 4:29 And he shall lay his hand upon the head of the sin offering, and slay the sin offering in the place of the burnt offering.
Lev 4:30 And the priest shall take of the blood thereof with his finger, and put it upon the horns of the altar of burnt offering, and shall pour out all the blood thereof at the bottom of the altar.
Lev 4:31 And he shall take away all the fat thereof, as the fat is taken away from off the sacrifice of peace offerings; and the priest shall burn it upon the altar for a sweet savour unto the LORD; and the priest shall make an atonement for him, and it shall be forgiven him.
Lev 4:32 And if he bring a lamb for a sin offering, he shall bring it a female without blemish.
Lev 4:33 And he shall lay his hand upon the head of the sin offering, and slay it for a sin offering in the place where they kill the burnt offering.
Lev 4:34 And the priest shall take of the blood of the sin offering with his finger, and put it upon the horns of the altar of burnt offering, and shall pour out all the blood thereof at the bottom of the altar:
Lev 4:35 And he shall take away all the fat thereof, as the fat of the lamb is taken away from the sacrifice of the peace offerings; and the priest shall burn them upon the altar, according to the offerings made by fire unto the LORD: and the priest shall make an atonement for his sin that he hath committed, and it shall be forgiven him.

This is a commandment concerning those who sin, and for those Jews who did this, it was a righteous act, cause:

Psa 119:172 My tongue shall speak of thy word: for all thy commandments are righteousness.

Christ came to fulfil the law even sin offerings:

Heb 10:26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,

Therefore, if you understand that you crucified Christ as a sin offering because you're a sinner, and repent, that is a righteous act and puts you onto the right tract of things because you no longer want to continue in sin for which reason Christ came to end by death.
Therefore you are dead to sin because His return will be to destroy the remainder of sin as the second death. Therefore repent and overcome cause you must turn that corruption into incorruption. All corruption in the end will be consumed for those who are not purified and did obey the truth. Those who lead a worldly life, who say they are Christian but are likely sinners, and did not put to death their outer, offensive man, well, they did not accomplish the will of God concerning purification because of sin and death. Corruptible must put on incorruption. This may be hard to understand for those who are enjoying their life in the world:

Luk 17:26 And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.
Luk 17:27 They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.
Luk 17:28 Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded;
Luk 17:29 But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.
Luk 17:30 Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.

Substitutional theology walks right in to this snare because they feel like that God's grace was a meal ticket to live and imagine a false righteousness that lives with sin and do not rather flee from it.
Those who do not obey the requirement of Christ to purify in the truth shall be rendered unclean. That is worthy of the second death.

The only way to put away sin that causes death is to die.

Yes, understand that Christ is the lamb that took away the sins of the world. By His blood He propitiates the wrath of God against sin.

But this doesn't fulfill the Law. It satisfies the curse of the Law. We still need to be perfectly holy to enter heaven. Which is why Paul contrasts the two Adam's disobedience vs obedience. By the One (Act) of obedience we are justified. Because ONLY Christ's obedience is absolutely perfect.
Yes believers must repent, but they repent because of their justification in Christ Alone! He is the living vine, and apart from him you can do nothing! Our sole assurance or confidence before God is Christ Alone! He redeemed us with his blood, he propitiated the wrath of God, he reconciled us to the father, he was raised for our justification! This is the good news, not some response or deeds my do. This is watering down the Gospel with Law.
Luk 17:26 And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.
Luk 17:27 They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.

I beg to differ. This couldn't be further from the truth. The first Adam bought sin, death & condemnation. The Last Adam bought righteousness, life and justification.

According to what you are saying is that we believe and promote that there is no law for believers to follow. But this is incorrect. This is a very common mistake to call us Antinomian. We do believe in repentance, good works, sanctification of the believer! We just did not place this before the justification of the sinner. Nor do we conflate justification & sanctification. They are distinct from each other, but not separate.

Nor do we believe that the Gospel is a license to sin. But we do believe that we are saved by God's Grace and Mercy alone!

Those who do not obey the requirement of Christ to purify in the truth shall be rendered unclean. That is worthy of the second death.

The only way to put away sin that causes death is to die.
That is why Christ paid for it once and for all for his people!
