Basically, what I've seen so far is that I'm not worth anything, like everyone else is. I was an ugly baby, I was picked on a lot, and my family is trying to tell me the truth that I'm also a half-mistake, with that part being my dad's family.

Even with mofern family planning many babies are not planned, they are an accident, a mistake, an error that resulted in pregnancy.

New born babies are 'ugly' it is femail hormones that cause them to say, " What a lovely baby! "

So please take those comments from your family with a truck load of salt. That is, pay theose comments no attention.

Your worth is not established by how popular you are or by how pretty you are, or by your achievements.

As a Christian your value is that Jesus died for you.

Please focus on your worth before God, focus on what you can achieve. We are not all first class students, or beauty contestants but we all can be valued members of a community, of a company, a church etc etc.

There is always the chance that we will not be as desirable as another, but it does not mean we are not loved by God.

Yet God, works all things for our good, and as we follow after Him. He will grant many of our hearts desires, even those things which may not naturally be inclined to come our way.

God has a plan for everyone, you have no idea how important you are or you are going to be in the lives of the people around you, you may actually save lives someday you have no way of knowing now what God has for you in the future.

In God's sight, you're worth as much as anybody else.

In fact, you're worth so much to God ... that He allowed His Son to die on a cross to save you from alot of what goes on down here.

People (even family) ... can be cruel. But you're entering young adulthood now, ... and you will soon be able to have more control over who you spend your time with.

There are people out there ... who will love you for who you are ... and who you will love in return. As time and circumstances permit, set out to find a good affirming church which will become a new source of family for you. Start to try to spend more time with people whose interests and principles align with your own.

Life is really only starting for you. Hang on, ... life will get better ...

None were planned, and they basically landed here at inconvenient times. We just let the Lord bring them as He may. You do understand that it is God who sent your spirit and soul to your body ? First I want to tell you - you're no "mistake". God doesn't mistakes and your His child first and foremost.

Beauty stems from the inside and shines outwardly, those who focus on the exterior are shallow people. The most beautiful people in the world have less than perfect exteriors, but the most awesome interiors and their beauty shines everywhere they go.

So pay attention to your interior - your heart - and make that beautiful... Then your beauty will shine.

Our worth doesn't stem from our looks, or even our abilities, our worth stems from the fact we are children of a living God, the God of all creation, and we were created in His image. Be His child and ignore what shallow people may say or think. Even when those shallow people are supposedly "family".

Remember what Jesus said: "For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother.” (read: Matthew 12:46-50)

So pray for the people who would look only shallowly, and be the beautiful person you are in Christ, with the worth He gives.

What makes you decide that you are worth less than other people? That's not only not true, but it's also not how things work! So are you going to spend you life, feeling sorry for yourself and not making the most of the life, which you have been given. Well God gave you that life and He meant as a blessing, not a curse!

If you are waiting for everything to just drop in to your lap, it does not work like that! Do you not know that God has a will and a purpose for each of our lives? He also means us to be overcomers. We are not loved, because we are outwardly beautiful, but because we are inwardly beautiful. People love us, because of what we are on the inside.

Lots of really good looking people treat others, like they don't matter and leave many hurt people in their wake. They take, but never give anything back, so don't tell yourself that it's all about looks. We all have a chance to make something of our lives and God is waiting to be part of our lives, if we will let him. Today is a great day to talk to God about making your life really count and to get connected with Him.

He came to not believe he wasn't worth anything either and decided to jump off a bridge. An angel came to him and showed him the world if he had not been born. Many people lives around him had fallen a part in a world with out him.

But back to what you family might have said. So what! If they want to claim you're not worth anything maybe you should feel sorry for them! Their judgement and assessment is not based in reality for God's judgement and assessment says that you are of great value to the point that Jesus came and died for you to purchase you back for God. It didn't come cheap either. He paid for you with his precious blood. So what's your loved ones' assessment if they're saying you're of no value. It's nothing more than the ramblings of individuals who have their minds blinded and deceived by the god of this world Satan. GOD SAYS YOU ARE OF GREAT VALUE and his assessment TRUMPS everything else. So now the ball is in your court. Whose assessment are you going to believe.....God or man's?????????????

Worth of a human is not a human measurement. Not even for self-assessment, nevermind for assessing others. God put you here for a reason, you are worth what he has in mind for you —his use, not someone else's opinion of you— and you are constructed and are being shaped for your particular spot as the particular member of his dwelling place in Heaven that you are.

Worth is an interesting concept. It has been said, "One man's trash is another man's treasure".

You are precious in the sight of God. As far as other people go, being good looking, wealthy, or famous (having so-called "worth") can surround one with all sorts of people who not only have low character, but might actually be dangerous.

There was a movie called "The Big Short" one of the characters met his wife through a dating service. He had posted that he was a medical student with $90,000 of debt, one eye, and socially awkward. The gal who responded said he was exactly what she was looking for, ...honest.

If you focus on making yourself into a person of real value (honest, kind, faithful, caring, etc.) you might find others who also have these rare qualities.

Your profile says you are 17. Most teens do not have much to begin with. It is a time of uncertainty for some.. You may seek a calling from Jesus. He is a master builder who can lift people out of poverty and despair. His teachings are popular to this day.

Please don't take your life. You are worthy. You are made in God's image. Even if you feel hurt and unloved by some people in your life, you are loved by God. And even if you might not have people who love you/friends/a significant other now, you can still find them. Have hope! You are here for a reason!
