Ummmm...there is a gene that determines your hair color. A change in that gene, making a hair color different is a mutation.
Ah, yes.

Natural selection?

Does hair color go into fight-or-flight mode?

If evolution causes hair color to change, how's come there are still blondes around?

It's a neutral mutation unless there are advantages in your environment. For example, polar bears and their white fur in the arctic would be better survivers than brown bears

That's a cute strawman you built there. Is this a variation of "if we come from monkeys, why are there still monkeys?" question. Certainly you've been around here long enough to know what an erroneous question that is.

May I ask what a "neutral mutation" is?

Is that a mutation that is neither beneficial nor harmful?

Would they know perfect DNA if they saw it?
Even if early DNA was preserved, who knows what being in the
ground for 4000 to 5000 years did to it?
It did nothing to it. It's the same.

There is not one shred of evidence that DNA has ever been or can even be 'perfect'.

No mutation is unharmful, because it's random data-corruption.
You may notice the harm done generations later though.

Were Adam & Eve products of random data corruption, made in the image and likeness of God and pronounced ...

Genesis 1:31a And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good.

According to Genesis, obviously not.
According to reason and some commons sense neither (i.m.h.o.)

Mutations take their toll in living nature.
It will degrade, because it's a system without maintenance.

No man, i'm a creationist.
So are theistic evolutionists.

(According to Wikipedia, anyway.)

Well, I haven't read every one of your posts.

I did look at your profile, but it ... well ... lacks pertinent information.

Just wondering if you believe in monkey-to-man evolution.

You half-sound like a scientist, and I was beginning to wonder where you stood on Genesis 1.

(And still do.)

Evolution does not go monkey-to-man. If that is what you believe, then you nee to do more studying on the basics. Also, you cannot always rust Wikipedia. I hold Good and evolution are one, but I would not call myself a creationist. The latter term generally refers to those in creation science.

No, nor in fish to bird or whatever.
Mutation is data corruption. Only the viable survive, or need medical help.
I'm a full blown creationist.
I don't believe dead unconscious things can perform miracles.
Yes, miracles.
Because all of mankind doesn't even understand reality.
You half-sound like a scientist,
Do i really?
I take that as a compliment. ;)
and I was beginning to wonder where you stood on Genesis 1.

(And still do.)
Not anymore, i hope.

Evolution does not go monkey-to-man.
Then what was the Scopes monkey trial all about?

What year was "monkey" plutoed?

If you studied this, I would think you should know.

Well I'm not omniscient, and I misplaced my slide rule, so I don't really know when to rust them and when not to rust them.

Wikipedia would.

If you say so.

It's a poor conjecture.
We're waiting for proof for some 150 years now....
So what's there to study?
Just poor materialistic apologetics, based on the conjecture...

Behold the power of thorough indoctrination...
The church could have only dreamed of something like that...
