Thank you for your words of encouragement. I'm going to vent for a bit because I'm pretty anxious and depressed for awhile. I'm afraid that I'm not going to be able to sleep. I have group projects for college and I can't seem to get the motivation to do anything at the moment. You're words are awesome, but man this thought is really getting to me. There are times where I have full perspective and everything is OK and I don't believe this thought but once anxiety and depression take over it all comes back. I try to pray but I keep getting the thought, what if he's not there and you're hopeless. It terrifies me because I can't see an end to this. Im sorry, I don't mean to go on and on about this but it helps to talk to someone.
What time is it in Australia by the way. It's 1:43am here in Texas. We are about to have a time change here in 16 mins. It will be 1:00am again.
Just wanted to say if not for Jesus Christ there is no way any of us are going to make it out of here alive, hope you've asked him into your heart and mind know he brings all our thoughts into captivity when we ask it's given, so you're not alone, he's with you and the Holy Spirit is with you as well, she's wisdom and your comforter and teacher and she loves you. My guess is like most of us, you're probably not breathing in properly during these episodes, silly how we forget. Learn to do this on purpose nice and slowly, take your time, easy to forget to breathe in and good to remember. Check out breathing exercises through youtube.
Stay away from sugar and caffeine, find Beethoven or Chopin (my fav) and listen to the piano music. All suggestions.
Cut off the persistent thought on purpose, just do it, lay the axe to the root with no regrets knowing our Lord Jesus does not work with guilt and shame, this is not coming from him, it's most likely the ego thinking you should do better and know more, don't worry, you can do all your self correctly with Jesus, acknowledge him in all your ways and he'll direct you're path.
Try this for a change; put your hand out in front of you & find where the energy is coming from and say in the name of Jesus, stop. No drama and no obsessiveness, everything in moderation.
Remember you are what you eat and a nice glass of milk at night or a herbal tea all help the body relax, you'd like the magnesium check it all out and know these suggestions are for you to do the ground work and see what works best.
Get up early and don't stay up late, routine is always good; shower, brush teeth, floss, all good for your body and mind and check out some omega 3s and magnesium yourself, online and read and see what's good for you; we all need to take care of the mind & body we're in. I'm a mother and I care.
Take a look at some cooking video's, Gordon Ramsey's pretty good, they're as so many just think of any food you'd like to eat and see how it's prepared, it's really not as hard as you might think and you never know, you might like it. Add to your life don't worry about taking anything away, sooner or later the not so good just drops off. Keep up the studies, looking forward to hearing the great marks you'll be getting and comments! A big thumbs up to you!
