  1. Welcome to Christian Forums, a forum to discuss Christianity in a friendly surrounding.

Your voice is missing! You will need to register to be able to join in fellowship with Christians all over the world.

We hope to see you as a part of our community soon and God Bless!

  2. The forums in the Christian Congregations category are now open only to Christian members. Please review our current Faith Groups list for information on which faith groups are considered to be Christian faiths. Christian members please remember to read the Statement of Purpose threads for each forum within Christian Congregations before posting in the forum.
  3. Please note there is a new rule regarding the posting of videos. It reads, "Post a summary of the videos you post . An exception can be made for music videos.". Unless you are simply sharing music, please post a summary, or the gist, of the video you wish to share.
  4. There have been some changes in the Life Stages section involving the following forums: Roaring 20s, Terrific Thirties, Fabulous Forties, and Golden Eagles. They are changed to Gen Z, Millennials, Gen X, and Golden Eagles will have a slight change.
  5. CF Staff, Angels and Ambassadors; ask that you join us in praying for the world in this difficult time, asking our Holy Father to stop the spread of the virus, and for healing of all affected.
  6. We are no longer allowing posts or threads that deny the existence of Covid-19. Members have lost loved ones to this virus and are grieving. As a Christian site, we do not need to add to the pain of the loss by allowing posts that deny the existence of the virus that killed their loved one. Future post denying the Covid-19 existence, calling it a hoax, will be addressed via the warning system.
  7. There has been an addition to the announcement regarding unacceptable nick names. The phrase "Let's go Brandon" actually stands for a profanity and will be seen as a violation of the profanity rule in the future.

Sure there are saved homosexuals, as there are saved cigarette smokers and saved alcoholics and saved thieves.

Sin is sin is sin. There is no difference.

Hmm, that's funny, I always thought only GOD was suppossed to Judge other people

Homosexuality is wrong. It is a sin, and an "abomination" to GOD. I know that, but that doesn't mean they deserve to be judged by US! IE: imperfect humans. Didn't Jesus say himself "Whosoever is without sin may throw the first stone"

Do you think homosexuals are un-loveable by GOD? God hates homosexuality, but loves the homosexual.

Question: Do you think homo's enjoy, or rather, want to be gay? I don't think so, I honestly think that they are incapable of being sexually attracted to the opposite sex. It's people like you Debbie, that repel homo's from Christianity. Of course they won't even remotely think about it becasue people like you already condemn them, before you even know them. Homo's don't become straight unless influenced by Christ. How can they become influenced by Christ if Christians like YOU, debbie, won't treat them like a human? A homo won't become straight until he becomes saved and recieves the proper conviction by the Holy Ghost.

Personally, if I was gay, I'd avoid Christaints, and possibly Christianity at all costs. Not because I would think Christianity is wrong, but because some people are so easily judgemental and, condemning. Why would I want to associate myself with a group of people who so easily verbally and emotionally attack? Not all Christians are like this but some. And it's those some who repel homo's from Christ, who by the way, is the only person who can convert them back to heterosexualism. I hope I"m getting my point across.

I watched the Matthew Sheppard Story on ABC not too long ago, and it changed my perspective. I'm not going to treat or talk to homo's like they are dogs. I'm going to talk to them like I would anyone else. I think they deserve compassion like any other human being.

I'm sorry Debbie if you didn't mean that like I think you meant it. You just made it seem like you thought homo's were bad people, (I'm not talking spiritually) and they you are better than them. If thats the case your not, because both homo's and hetaro's recieve the same savior.

Remember what Jesus said... "Whosoever believith shall NOT perish..." I think we need to remember, a hetaro sexual without Jesus is alot worse off then a homo who is with Jesus.

Hello all. There are several things that need to be addressed here.

aforchrist33 - to address your first question, "Do you believe saved homosexuals can loose their salcation?". I assume you mean salvation. No one can lose their salvation. Salvation is not gained by works. It is the "gift of God, not of works lest any man should boast". We did nothing to earn salvation it is God's free gift to us and we can do nothing to lose it. All we have to do is accept His free gift. Since my salvation is not based on my works, then nothing I do can cause me to not be saved any more. Ephesians says we are sealed by the Holy Spirit until the day of redemption. When Jesus died, He paid the price for all my sin - past, present, and future. Once I am saved, His blood is applied to all of my sins.

Debbie - anyone can be saved. Alcoholics, drug addicts, murderers, homosexuals, etc. I do believe, though, that once people are saved, God changes their lifestyles. In this case, the converted homosexual is no longer practicing homosexuality. We become "new creatures in Christ, old things are past away and all things become new". I hope you really don't mean your comment the way it came out.

Nick_Loves_Abba - you are correct, God is the only one that can judge. Remember He did just that to Sodom and Gomorrah. You stated "Do you think homo's enjoy, or rather, want to be gay? I don't think so, I honestly think that they are incapable of being sexually attracted to the opposite sex." I strongly disagree with you here. God is a God of love, mercy, and justice. There is no way He would have created humans "incapable of being sexually attracted to the opposite sex" and then destroy them because of it. Homosexuality is a choice - just like alcoholism or drug addiction. I do, however, agree that alot of christians are very judgemental and cruel to non-believers (homosexual or not) about their lifestyles and push those people away from christianity instead of doing what is necessary to win those folks to Christ. Like Christ, we are to love the sinner. Before someone is saved, they are not bound to live by the Word of God. Sometimes we expect people to act like christians even though they are not. It's God's job to change lives not ours.

Honestly when we get to heaven, If it's allowed of course (why wouldn't it be) I'm gonna get the biggest peperoni pizza imaginable and share it with all my new friends! And of course the Dr.Pepper.

I honeslty hope we will be able to eat in heaven. That would be awesome. No longer the guilt of eating a fatty food.

    Ahhh... (Mouth waters)

    Good point ed.

However, I haven't started a plethora of threads that ask a question, and then provide a link to my answer to the question.

I leave that link in my sig, because:

    1) it is allowed, and I'd have no problem is he left a link to his site in his sig file.

    2) I'm more often there, than here, and someone who wanted to get a hold of me can take the link, and find me.

Dave, you want some RootBeer with that Spamaroni Pizza? :p

Everyone if you feel he is spaming why dont you send a pm to the moderators w/ proof of the spaming. Untill then lets NOT go around accusing people.

on teh topic itself. Yes they can be saved. Homosexuals are no differant then Hedrosexuals. Sin is Sin. Period. If you think otherwise i think you need to go back to the Bible and reread it, and come to a conclustion yourself. At no point does it ever say anything to the effect that homosexuals will not be forgivein for there sins, nor does it say they will not enter heaven because of there sin.
