And what does Jesus say people will do in the future?
Worship in Spirit and Truth.
How do you worship in Spirit?
Walk according to Spirit
What is walking according to Spirit?
Walking in love for God and others and Galatians5 says it too.
What is this Love?
Agape?
What is agape?
Unconditional love for others.
Isn't my homosexual relationship loving others unconditionally?
No.
Why?
Because that is a different kind of greek love. Agape is godly, the only kind where you can love others who don't love you, where you can lay down your life and send someone to die for you, where u can love someone no strings attached, loving others unconditionally regardless whether they are your enemy, friend, brother, sister, terrorist, ect.

Hetrosexuals and Homosexuals using agape as a reason to love each other sexually are either deceiving themselves or do not know what agape is.

its a simple enough, yes or no question... are we, today, still bound by OT law under the new covenant? yes or no?

Did you not hear me? All the Law and the prophets hang on agape for God and others.

Enemy Party, I am really excited to tell you this information because I am new to it myself and it makes christianity make a lot more sense, especially when one learns about the various greek definitions of love! It makes more sense! Loving enemies! Loving others regardless of what they do! It all makes sense! =)

Praying for enemies, being unconditional with others.....

I am very excited about know what agape is =)

You get a detailed explanation of his answer and you are still refusing it? Thats kind of childish isnt it? We are not bound by any laws, as Christ overcame the law, but that does not necessarily mean that we can neglect or deny our activity with regards to it.

I don't want a "detailed" (read "uninteligible") answer... I want a simple one...

OT law, binding on us today under the New Covenant, yes or no?

So, we aren't bound by any law. Good. Thats great. Thats what I want to hear. But then you go and contradict yourself with your suffix... if we aren't bound by any laws then "that we can neglect or deny our activity with regards to it." is PRECISELY what it means... because otherwise... we ARE bound by laws...

its really as simple as that

Okay, so the law never went anywhere, only that Christ fulfills it. So through our faith in Him, we are covered by the multitude of sins we commit through the law. Does that mean we can disregard the law all together and continue sinning? Nope. If Christ is in us, and we have the Spirit, then we will do our best to continue His path of righteousness, although we often fail.

Some christians, even within my church, don't know that there are 5 greek definitions of love and go by the english definition and not the greek word agape. I am very excited to talk about this kind of love!

We are freed from the Law but yet, God still judges what sin is. Rather than following a set of rules on externals and requirements of a religion, it is all about the inner self and walking in Spirit and not Flesh.

Satan has been defeated at the cross by God, yet, Satan is a sore loser and continues to influence us through flesh. That is why the apostles taught about not giving in to the flesh.

No... no "buts"... we either are or we aren't!

Are you arguing just for the sake of it? If we are freed from the law and no buts then we can do whatever we want with no reprecussions whatsoever.

no, I'm not arguing for the sake of it... I'm utterly confused...

how can you say in the same breath that we are freed from the law but still beholden to it???
