Hahahaaa....well this is etched in my heart.....and helped me enormously in my own quest to seek God, always, even when i had, in essence, skinned knees, mud on me face, rambles in me hair......and it is that David, in all of his awfulness, knew WHERE to run...and it was straight to His Abba's arms.......and if DAVID could do this and God didn't gert mad at him, but forgave him, then i could too, snotty nose n' all

Reminds me of Jonah, he ran from God when God told him what to do. He sure paid for it, but he was given the chance to obey again and he did just that.

I did my share of running, i was miserable because my conscience condemned me. I feel like i get judged sometimes, as if people are asserting i'm self righteous for seeking to obey God, as if im trying to be perfected in the flesh and don't hope in Jesus, but its far from that, im just tired of not obeying God, i want a clear conscience, and my peace is found in that alone. God spit me put of he whale so to speak and its because of Him that i seek obedience.

It is, you're right. I just know that it's reaaaaally similar to the long thread about "fear" that has been on-going.

Basically, all the threads seem to be rehashing the same old topics and running into each other. (which of course at times can't be helped as one topic IS often linked to another)

As i said, forgive me brinny. I just feel judged all the time from people on here. Its hard to know what someone is saying. I Just get tired of feeling judged.

Interesting subject, isn't it? It of one the things that helped set me free, yet kept me in bondage for lack of anyone to chat with about the subject and not get into trouble - receive the left hand of fellowship.

Aah, yes, fellowshiping and sharing....'tis a privilege and a blessing.....there were times, in isolation, i'd hide from God cuz i just didn't cut the mustard, AGAIN....and i would AVOID God and nearly drown in self-condemnation.....nobody else seemed to have this problem......maybe that's why testimonies are so edifying...

Telling someone how you feel is good, it resolves problems, letting it fester is not good. Asking forgiveness of mistakes should clear things up. Please don't act like people on here don't use innuendo to mock each other and hurt each other, because you know it happens. Maybe i should not get offended so easy, but likewise people should consider others feelings and not attack each other or make excuse for their personal attacks.

If I was disobedient, rebellious and came to myself and wished to to die, got swallowed by a fish and got spit up where God told me to be - wouldn't it be about time to concede and comply. How much more could a guy take? Give em a break. K?

This board it tame compared to a year ago. That is even before godisreal36's time.

One of the problems is haveing a conversation with wome one and using the word you. Another problem is if someone doesn't like your postion it is attacking them. It really only shows how empty and undefendable their position is.

The time to concede (ideally) would obviously be BEFORE all those things happened. But it shouldn't take chastisement to turn back (repentance) to the right direction and what God has told us to do.
