Nonsense! More information available makes for a more informed public. A more informed public is better able to judge the actions of their selected leaders. The president is answerable to us.Kroger99 said:I think that there is a whole lot about this that we don't know, nor do we need to know at this point. Giving too much info is sometimes not a good thing for America.

Try telling your competitors your every plan and move and see how long you last in the businessTry walking into your job, and telling your boss "Oh, you don't need to know what I did. Sometimes too much information is just not a good thing for you."
See how long you last. That's exactly how long a president who refuses to give information to his bosses, the people, should last.

So much for the Warmonger theory...lolNothingButTheBlood said:Well one thread says the administration is ready to strike Iran and now this one says Bush isn't interested enough. Perhaps he knows or at least thinks he knows it's not something to worry about just now. Everyone got upset about Korea too and basically the US told that part of the world to monitor the situation and act. No reason for us to get too involved. Maybe people figure other Arab nations are keeping tabs on this situation, if for no other reason than to keep us out.

Which is why we spend more money on military then any three countries combined. What plan can answer overwhelming force?A more informed enemy is better prepared to plan its moves
Have you ever heard of patent submissions and the little informational packets they give to stockholders, detailing their buisiness plans, as well as financial disclosures, budgets, income statements, future plans, et al? THEY DO EXACTLY THAT!Try telling your competitors your every plan and move and see how long you last in the business
