Actually your first two sentences actually support what Hillary said.

I would vote for anyone over Trump. I think he lacks ethics, certainly lacks Christian ethics, lacks integrity, is narcissistic, lacks compassion for others, chooses staff unwisely, likes dictators , and does not have the respect or understanding of democracy. He is unfit for the office, imo.

Biden does have integrity and ethics and compassion and an understanding of democracy.

I could word for word restate your comments above, but switch Trump and Biden and be as honest and truthful about my opinion as you are about yours.

That is the beauty and power of this nation. We can be complete polar opposites politically, but live side by side.

The main difference is I don’t think Biden supporters need to be reprogrammed. They are free to state their beliefs and choices.

There is nastiness on both sides - you were not exactly charitable in your comments either.

It is very telling that Ashley has not denied it's authenticity - and BTW - What exactly does an abused person look like - as the father of a sexually abused daughter, I'd really like to know.

We both have personal issue with the candidate we do not support.

So, does America support the "formal deprogramming" of "cult members" (members of the opposite political party) or not? Simple question. Yes or no settles the matter. The hesitancy to answer worries people. It should be a no-brainer. I would worry about myself if I could not find it in myself to immediately and soundly denounce the suggestion. I think I would check up on myself... some serious self-appraisal. People remaining silent about the evil of this statement is indeed scary. If it was just the bitter left-wing kook who could not defeat Trump, then we could laugh it off. But we see people either stand up for her and her statements or remain silent, refusing to condemn the notions.
Again, the correct response to her suggestion is:
"In America, we do not reprogram/deprogram those who disagree with our politics."
