She said MAGA supporters. That is essentially all Trump voters. If that is not what she meant, she should have clarified.

In a word. Most people do not trust those who make these accusations.
There is deep and powerful hate against this man. Irrational. Seething. I suspect it is partially because so many people were made fools in the 2016 election and during his presidency. Also, many people believe what he says when he says it is not him they hate; it is us. I know that if they could, they would do exactly the same things to us as they have done and are doing to him. I identify with him because of this. They have done these sorts of things, said these sorts of things, and want to do the same things to us. Hillary's statements and the willingness of others to support, or at least not denounce, are just further evidence that our suspicions are true. So I, for one, have been asking for a number of years, "So what are you going to do about it and us?"
They are giving us the answer now.

Trump is wrong in saying that it is you (followers) that is hated and not him. It is him. He is just saying that to get sympathy. That is all.

Trump is heavily disliked for his own behavior and attitudes and words. He is a womanizer who committed adultery repeatedly, and the words of that Entertainment tonight episode are not such a surprise (the grab them by the privates comment). Trump was recently found liable for sexual assault. Most in New York already saw trrough him. He wasn't a great business man as he claimed.

How many bankruptcies did he have? 6? Including casinos? There is a reason US banks stopped loaning to him.
Trump was known not to pay fully for work done for him. He has a history of fraud; thinkof the Trump University and the Trump Foundation.
The Trump organization was found liable for tax fraud. And the judge of his current trial in NYC already found that he committed fraud and the trial now is for recompense purposes.

Then there was his obnoxious behavior regarding Obama's birth certificate, which came of as racism. His full page ad about the Central Park Five didn't age well as they were all vindicated. Then there is the "lock her up" chant which was new low for American politics. More dictator type of behavior than democratic. His speech was violent in his rallies and seemed to bring out the worst in people ( "knock the crap out of them"). He also said he would pay the legal fees for his followers if they did that - but he didn't .

I will never see why people believe in a man who committs fraud, committs adultery, lies, fails to pay bills and dupes others, and who has a fondness for dictators and strong arm policies. I think that his return to the presidency would cause the end of democracy in the US. Nothing he has said makes me think differently.

I will never see why people believe in a man who committs fraud, committs adultery, lies, fails to pay bills and dupes others, and who has a fondness for dictators and strong arm policies. I think that his return to the presidency would cause the end of democracy in the US. Nothing he has said makes me think differently.

Add to that the legal issues and court cases he is facing and yet…. He is polling neck and neck with Joe Biden who is daily lauded as an amazing President.

Is it feasible that perhaps Biden’s followers might be in need of reprogramming also. They don’t seem to be able to recognize his incredibly obvious weaknesses

We talk to our relatives and friends and show them we democrats aren’t the demons the right wing media voices want them to believe we are. That’s how I would start to deradicalize the right.
