Yep. It’s part way sighted in. On the target @100. Some people don’t have such a problem sighting in. Put it back together and it was in the ball park.

The weather is nice in the 80s for a week or more. 74 last Saturday, just amazing. Have got to go shooting before it’s all over and climbs to 100s again. But we re always good with A/C.

You? Any projects or an ease on the weather? I see you all the time on the threads I go to. We have a lot of agreement spiritually. And you encourage like nobody’s business. Keep up the good work there is a blessing in defending the down trodden. They need encouragement and not condemnation. Look what @Macchiato did. She’s now in nursing school. The lord did it but you got to hand it to her perseverance. From a dark place to the light. Wow! a God story.

im going back to work next month. Pray for me would ya. I need strength, I need perseverance, I need money?! Ha.
Youre faithful to pray to and when we all get together with a willing subject look good things start to happen. It’s better when they start to happen to other people. Then you know God is really listening. So long chum!
It is good that your have gotten your gun mostly fixed, and even better that the weather down there is cooler. The weather in Wisconsin is good, not too hot. I knew that your gun will eventually work, and it almost works now.

For encouragement on the forum and helping others (such as with @67_Reasons with him on brainstorming hunting equipment using the artificial intelligence software on my PC, or helping @Lady Bug go to church regularly), I do this, cos the Holy Spirit calls me to help others in need. Suffering is so sad to see, so that is why I try to help others with their suffering. I am really proud of @Macchiato , and hope that she uses her story as a testimony to bring others to Christ.

Also, I will pray for you, that you go back into your job and make decent money to survive in this expensive world, and that God brings fellow Christian people together to spread the Kingdom farther. Good stuff happens when we pray and get into God's Scripture.

They say guns with history fetch more money than guns w/o history. This gun…. Still has its history but is modernized and has a lot of new parts. Trigger, scope, new bolt handle. So it’s not original. The bolt handle was perfect for the open sights. The open sights were accurate, but not for me. I thought it should have a scope. I thought it should have a trigger, for me. Now I’m trying to sell it and everybody must want history. It’s an old gun.

its starting to shoot good, but is it just a shooter? How much would a good old shooter sell for in a rare caliber custom gun, not to mention Mauser. Perplexity.ai thinks700$-5000$.

I saw the photo; these beautiful old rifles are presently very undervalued. We have a few companies here in Canada that import these from Europe. In many European countries there is a limit as to how many firearms registrations one may hold. (such is the reason that many firearm makers have developed barrel/calibre change systems for their rifles (CZ455, 457 and Tika come to mind). When someone in Europe wants a new "best" caliber, they must trade in an old gun. Many are great value as they are often the least used ones on the gun rack, and often have better fit and finish than new guns. Depending on the model/condition/calibre they can Vary from $250-650 Canadian as factory sporting arms (180-480 US Dollars); highly engraved hand built examples in excellent condition, especially in "African" calibers can sell in the thousands.

Intersurplus I have bought a few fire-arms from them, and am always pleased as they come in better than described. The always has lots on hand; here are some links; they bring in multiple sea cans of firearms and other stuff every year; here is their current stock of rifles: All Firearms

They also carry reloading supplies for these obscure calibers.

I can't look at the pages without wanting many of them. LOL

You guys are up early! I will keep that link Mark. Looked at some pages and was impressed. That’s a pretty low price. Do they export?
those change barrel guns are great. Haven’t seen em here but will look again. I seen savage easy change and tc. CZ really interests me. It’s the caliber of my gun that interests me. Guess my price is too high. Many mausers out there. I prolly paid to much too. Lowest I’d seen. Most others are not mausers. I think only 5000 were made though. But this is custom. Yes the change barrel will keep all the governments going.

I don’t think the interchangeable CZ and tikka barrels have made it over here yet. Bergara makes one two like the CVA scout. Would like to get my hands on some. Gunbroker is my go to place and I couldn’t find them. I think in my state barrels don’t need an ffl but the receiver does.

If you are in the US; no, unfortunately not; however I do know that there are some companies brining in these rifles and shot-guns from Europe into the US because I see Youtube videos of guys reviewing these rifles in the US. Ron Spomer is one who comes to mind.

It was the same here until a couple weeks ago, now you need a license to buy barrels and slides; only the receivers used to require one.

We have a good group here in Canada with a lot of US members; joining is free, and we have a couple of commercial import/export companies on there that are quite economical importing and exporting firearms and components. Husqvarna Sporting Rifles #### - ALL MODELS!!!

I thank you for the invitation. How many gun owners in Canada? Here it was one percent. We picked up another million during Covid. New reloaded and gun owners. But we have had 3 shooting places shut down, but more cop and training just waiting to self protect and needing practice. The club has grown.

I don't know numbers, but we are gaining more members than we are losing.

Guns still selling. I can’t find the occasional appealing stray any more. Not a popular gun fan. I may be one of the lost ones before too long. I think a smaller house is in our future. With no place to work. Buying ammo is almost out of the question. No work no play. Nobody subtracts members but they do add them.

I just picked up a stray for a project; a TOZ 8-1 single shot .22. I plan on cleaning, bedding, tuning, and mounting globe and diopter sights for our Great Lakes Rimfire league. We shoot in the winter months in the indoor range. Picked it up for $200 Canadian from Intersurplus. Graded Barrel excellent, O/A condition "good ++". All the guns I have bought from these guys have arrived better than described. (I just picked up a FEG SXS 12 ga from them also rated good ++, apart from the finish on the stock looking old and dry, it sure looks like a brand new gun). Time will tell. Both our governments are in total disarray, we are in for a rough ride these coming years.
