Does Sylar have Charlies limitless memory powers? Or are we now in the world where Hiro turned back time and Charlie died from the bloodclot in her brain?
Wow, that's an interesting question. I don't know the answer!

I don't get how Sylar was able to stop the IV. If the drug paralyzes his brain, what power lets him overcome that?

Sylar has Charlie's powers, as he DID still kill her. Remember, Hiro said he couldn't change the past. Yes, she had an anuerism, but he is how she died. And apparently, the drug Mohinder gave him did not last as long as he thought it would. It just wore off Sylar really fast, that is how he stopped the IV and used his powers. You guys REALLY need to start reading the online graphic novels. They go along with the story lines and give more indepth to what is going on in the show. Like for instance, this weeks, where we see HRG may be having some help come his way in his prediciment he was placed in at the end of the episode...:) Go take a look!

some of us dont want spoilers tell us what is going to happen in the next episode.

It's actually not, I've been VERY impressed with the parallels between the comics and the show. They do a good job of keeping the very difficult balance between giving away too much (so that the comics are necessary to enjoy the show), and not giving away enough (so that the comics are boring).

Exactly! I don't like spoilers either, to a point, but I do like to get more indepth about what is going on. I think they do a great job of that.

Seems that NBC only would pay for 13 episodes to see if the show flied. May come back next year or rumor has it may go to movies. Guess if you want to keep it on air write NBC.
No. The show is a huge hit for NBC this season. They got a full season pick-up and will be returning in April to complete the season through the end of May sweeps. And there is no question Heroes will be back for a second season.

My friend got his info from a comic magizine he gets. He had heard it could go to sci fi or movies. I will have to let him know that's not right. I'll see what magizine he gets and try to track the article.

Here's a snip from the NBC press release giving it a full-season pick-up:

BURBANK - October 5, 2006 - NBC has given a full-season order for 2006-07 to "Heroes" (Mondays, 9-10 p.m. ET) - the critically acclaimed and #1 new series this Fall in adults 18-49 (tied with ABC's "Brothers & Sisters") -- it was announced today by Kevin Reilly, President, NBC Entertainment.

"'Heroes' has delivered exceptional ratings since it's premiere and we're even more impressed with the quality of the upcoming episodes," said Reilly. "We have complete confidence in creator-executive producer Tim Kring. The best is yet to come over the course of a full season with this newest drama sensation."

"Heroes" is averaging a 5.7 rating, 14 share in adults 18-49 and 13.5 million viewers overall, making it the #1 new series this Fall in adults 18-49, tied with ABC's "Brothers & Sisters." "Heroes" is the #1 show in its competitive Monday 9-10 p.m. (ET) slot in adults 18-49, generating a 43 percent increase on NBC's non-sports average for the time period last season.

.

And I'm looking for the link, but back in January it was renewed early for a second season, along with My Name Is Earl and The Office.

Here it is, from TVGuide.com:

HEROES is renewed for a 2nd Season!!!
As if that was a surprise!

Earl, Office and SVU also got the early re-upping, too...

The press release from nbcumv, which, in its url, has what looks to be a censored word (and so it might not show up correctly), can be found at this redirected shorter link: http://snurl.com/HEROES_Renewed

Excerpt:
NBC RENEWS HIT SERIES 'THE OFFICE,' 'MY NAME IS EARL,' 'HEROES' AND 'LAW & ORDER: SPECIAL VICTIMS UNIT' FOR FULL SEASON OF EPISODES IN 2007-08
Published: January 17, 2007

BURBANK, Calif. – January 17, 2007 – NBC has ordered early full-season pickups for the 2007-08 season for four hit series -- the comedies "The Office" and "My Name Is Earl," and dramas "HEROES" and "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, " it was announced today by Kevin Reilly, President, NBC Entertainment.

"These four series represent some of the best of what we consider to be the 'NBC brand' of quality shows," said Reilly. "It is a pleasure to give them an early renewal to develop more stories for next year since we know they will remain both critical and commercial successes for a long time to come."

"HEROES" is the #1 new series of the season in adults 18-49, total viewers and other key categories and, through 16 weeks of the season, is tied for the #3 ranking among all shows in 18-49. "HEROES" is NBC's highest-rated first-year drama in 18-49 in 12 years, since "ER" debuted in Fall 1994. Through January 7, "HEROES" was averaging a 6.8 rating, 16 share in adults 18-49 and 15.3 million viewers overall.

The funny thing is my Boss used to watch it on the SciFi Channel, and They (the SciFi Channel) dropped it.
