Actually, more than 2000 times as many. 38 million vs 1800. Your reasons don't begin to account for that much difference in the two years. Somebody is manipulating the numbers.

Here is a more scientific analysis of the recent flu statistics. There are no nefarious manipulations.

Excellent. Who? and Why?
Depends on which numbers are being manipulated, I suppose. My guess would be like always, those who have something to gain by manipulating them. Those who are pushing the vaccine, for instance. Those who wrote the guidelines for reporting numbers. Those who love to control the masses.

Because this isn't last year.
Oh, that's a relief. I wonder what numbers they'll mak..., er, the policies come up with this year.

Per your link:
"Since the novel coronavirus began its global spread, influenza cases reported to the World Health Organization from the Northern and Southern Hemispheres have dropped to minute levels." (my emphasis in bold).

Reporting flu cases to the WHO is the normal thing that national health systems do. There is nothing unusual or nefarious about that.

Alrighty. Perhaps you could explain how falsely lowering flu numbers helps push any vaccines, and how it allows for control.

Falsely adding to Covid numbers.

Delta variant: 'These deaths are largely preventable... and that's inexcusable,' doctor says

"public health experts are arguing that recent deaths were largely avoidable due to widespread availability of effective vaccines."

“For me as a physician, this is a national tragedy,” University of Alabama at Birmingham Associate Dean for Global Health Dr. Michael Saag said on Yahoo Finance Live (video above). “These deaths are largely preventable, and from a public health perspective, that’s inexcusable that we can be in this country and be experiencing this kind of problem.”

Nor are the opinions of those who want to maintain this bogus panic, evidence.
Until enough people have lost loved ones to COVID there will always be those who see the pandemic as "bogus".

I didn't say the pandemic is bogus. The panic is bogus.

again, medical Drs, pharmacists, and nurses are giving the vaccines

My niece is a nurse who had Covid last year and doesn't want the vaccine. Also in our area, this week there was a protest organized by "nurses" that are against vaccine mandates for health care workers, especially since many have worked on the front lines and recovered from Covid. And even some that are protesting have been vaccinated but they are standing up for those that are not. One nurse was quoted as saying "Some of us have given 20 or 30 years on the front lines risking diseases, unknown viruses and so on and we were good enough then, but we're not now?"

PPE has always been the go to when it comes to healthcare, I was a STNA for almost 30 years myself and build up a very good immune system by doing so. But now all of the sudden we are seeing mandates for a shot that still has the unknown factor to it? But many will fall in line because they don't want to danger their livelihoods, etc.

With the world as it is and holding the moral views that it does do you really think the majority view is in line the the LORD or opposed to him?
Exactly! We do not want to be conformed with the majority of this world. Especially when they flip flop every week. That's when you know there's an agenda. But some will follow, no matter what.

we need herd immunity
If they really cared about "herd immunity" they would be pushing for more antibody tests. We are probably closer to that in reality but the push is for vaccines, that is the agenda. Millions have aquired natural immunity which probably lasts longer than the vaccines I don't care what the numereous studies have shown, I have seen others going to the other side. The vaccines only wish they could do what the natural body can do. Especially when certain cells settle in the bone marrow pumping out more antibodies. Amazing stuff that only continues to declare how amazing our Father is.

And I of course always want to say I know some have compromised immune systems and other conditions. I'm talking about healthy individuals that have aquired immunity.
I thanked the Lord when I saw that I still had the antibodies after 15 months. I prayed to him for guidance beforehand and when I saw that the decision was made for me at this time. We are all different and it's easy to just say "Get vaccinated". But all of us have different make ups, etc. There's always going to be the chance that the vaccine might not work on someone, have an allergic reaction, we don't know. I do know things work out according to God's plan, not ours.

Many people had Covid and didn't even know it and probably are carrying around the IgG antibodies needed. My antibody test results doesn't differ from the vaccinated result. It says "IgG antibodies are "late antibodies, largely responsible for long-term immunity after infection or vaccination."

So this tells me they don't really care about "herd immunity"

& my relative, a nurse, got the vaccine

Do I still need to get vaccinated if I’ve already had COVID-19?

"Andrew Badley, M.D., COVID-19 Research Task Force Chair, Mayo Clinic: If you've already had COVID-19, should you still get vaccinated? The answer is yes. Several reasons for that. One is that the duration of immunity that you receive after having COVID-19 disease is variable. Our current estimates are that that goes away over about three months. The vaccine protection can augment that. So our current recommendations are, if you've had COVID-19, wait until you're better and up to about 90 days or three months and then receive the vaccine when you're able to."
