HELLO EVERYONE!
I have briefly lurked this site before although it has been about a year since I have been on. I am bored and trying to ignore the fact that I am STILL pregnant so I thought I would take time to re-introduce myself since I am always full of questions and may be posting on here
A brief history, I was raised a mix of Baptist and Pagan (kinda awkward) and for most of my adult life I identified myself as a Pagan. Around this time last year my husband broke the news to me that he had found the Lutheran church and when he got back from Afghanistan he got confirmed and starting going to church weekly with our daughter. After months of fighting I was getting really annoyed with how happy church was making him and decided to go prove his Pastor wrong, so I started taking the Catechism Classes one on one. After months of harassing the poor man (and my very patient husband) and making them explain things to me over and over again something happened and I found myself WANTING to be in church and in class, and found that not only was I feeling happier within myself, but also my marriage was suddenly doing better than ever. After LOTS of praying and getting over the battle that this WAS something I believed and wanted I got confirmed with my loving and patient husband standing next to me (and our 2 year old rolling on the Alter....haha).
Anyway, I still have no idea what I am reading about 95% of the time when I pick up a Bible and I still find myself asking my husband questions almost daily but you have to start somewhere right?
Also I am 9 months pregnant with our awesome baby boy who I would LOVE even more if he would decide to come out. Anytime. Right now would be great actually... LOL
Can't wait to get to know everyone!!!
