Just keep in mind that anyone you mislead with your opinions rather than what God's word says, you are responsible for once you've been shown the truth.

God wrote His word, let HIM tell you HIs truth - it's our job to comply and submit to His plan.

HE CAN DO ANYTHING, HIS PLAN IS NOT TO. God CAN keep children from being molested, HE CHOOSES TO ALLOW THE ACTIONS OF SIN in people.

God COULD have made a world without any sin too, BUT HE CHOSE NOT TO.

It isn't about what God CAN do, it's about WHAT HE CHOOSES TO DO. It's about His sovereign plan and what He has deemed JUST and righteous - according to His own Perfect Law.

No we are rejecting the ignorance and the bias of pass traditions and declaring God's Word is spiritual, not literal. You are the one who has not the eyes to see, or the ears to hear. The truth is not literal, it is hidden.

Absolutely right, Nadiine. This is why I gave up on this thread a few days ago. Some folks can't be reached. My guess is, someone has a loved one or friend who isn't a believer, or who doesn't live by God's instructions. They try desperately to find a loophole so their loved one doesn't have to burn for eternity. In all the years I've been studying theology, it seems it always comes down to personal reasons why some can't accept what Scripture clearly states. They'll claim it isn't for these reasons, but deep down it usually is.

It is also clear you cannot change some folks ways of thinking.

Your effort was valiant and godly, but it has fallen on deaf ears. Thanks for trying to help show folks the truth of Scripture. Grace and Peace to you.

I'm sorry, but "eternal suffering" come out of catholic tradition, same as the concept that people go to "heaven." There are numberous misconceptions from the catholic church that the protestants churches still hold that are not in the bible.

Do you not understand, that it is sin which separates us from a perfect, flawless, loving God, only reachable through the sacrifice Christ made for us? What did He die for? Did he die for the idea that all who were with sin would one day join this perfect Lord, thus meaning all he warned, said, and condemned as sin was a lie? It may not sound fair to you, it may not sound reasonable to you, but who are you to question what is ultimately, and purely good and right? Are you God? Has he set you up on his throne to see creation, the acts of men, the stain that is sin, through His eyes? I don't think so! We are not the judges here, we are not the ones who decreed such a thing! And it is not our place to call God's actions unfair, less we join the Devil in his rebellion! I have faith in a creator, that creator being He who is I Am, Lord Almighty, Jesus Christ! If the lake of fire, hell, or whatever name you wish to call it, is not a place of eternal condemnation, that all who go eventually rejoin God in paradise, then that makes the man who says He is the Truth, The Way, and the Life, a liar! And despite all your anger or indignant opinions, CHRIST IS NO LIAR!
