may i suggest friend, smaller bites, of information? also, IMHO their will always be those who can't or won't see the forest for the trees. The true meaning of the Spirit of the entire text, in whole, including the Old and New Testament, because the meaning is not found in the primarily in language, translation, version but in the love of God., speaking from His heart to ours.

Just a side thought...Genesis 1:1 contains all 22 characters of the ancient Hebrew....each character is also represented as a number and thus this opening statement contains the potential for all words ever spoken and all numbers (thus all expressed thoughts and all possible mathematical equations exist in potentia Bereshith)....

Think on that...is it not fitting?

Little girl! We both had some problems, but we're finally in the clear. She's very tiny but healthy. And I'm ready to get back into my old routines!

Would love to keep this thread going when he has the time. I really enjoyed what he had to say.

Girls are indeed special. I have two girls who I refer to as Princess 1 and Princess 2 based on their ages. They have an older brother, my son, a close look alike to me.

My oldest daughter is 21 now and the youngest girl will be 18 in two months. Where did all the years go? I still think of them dancing on my shoetops to Saturday morning music sessions but it won't be too many years longer and I'll be walking them down the aisle, which makes me sad to think about. Although I'm hoping there is some truth to the old saying, "A son is your son until he takes a wife, but a daughter is your daughter for the rest of your life."

I would like to. He is fascinating to listen to / read, isn't he?

But sadly, I can't make Steve do anything. Nobody can make Steve do anything. Steve can't even make himself do some things! ;-) He marches to the beat of a different drum as the saying goes.

But there's nobody better for late night "bull sessions," where all us young philosophers would tackle the world and we knew just what needed to be done. Unfortunately the years fly by like minutes and we're left with "sweet dreams and flying machines in pieces on the ground" [James Taylor].
