In any case, the duration, nature & purpose of the torments the rich man was suffering are not revealed in this story. His torments there could have lasted less than 5 minutes. . . .
In this standard copy/paste from tents-r-us, which I have omitted, you used speculative language 5 times; "could be,""seems to" 2x and "possible" 2x . You have refuted nothing.
.....Does anything in Luke 16:19-32 state or suggest that the rich man, or anyone in his situation, could possibly leave there after Abraham said "those who want to go from here to you cannot, nor can anyone cross over from there to us." Wait I know let's use the standar Uni practice a piece of a verse here, a piece of a verse there and a piece of a verse somewhere else and we can prove almost anything we want to.

The post wasn't a copy paste from any website. Unlike you, when i quote someone, i use quotation marks.

Refuted nothing? I didn't make any such claim or use the word "refute".

There is nothing in the - story - even if taken literally, supporting endless punishment. Such would only prove there is a "hell", which those who believe in the eventual salvation of all also accept. In fact all get out of this very same "hell" in Revelation 20.

Revelation 20:15; 2 Thessalonian 1:9 "who shall pay the penalty of destruction eternally.." [DARBY]That is the message implied by being thrown into the lake of fire.

You realize the Greek word for "eternal" is used of the length of time Jonah was in the sea creature, i.e. 3 days:

Eternity in the Bible by Gerry Beauchemin – Hope Beyond Hell

And the word "destruction" often refers to mere death, or a punishment, or type of ruin that is temporary or reparable:

A lexicon re olethros at the following url states:

"...Hierocles 14, 451b has the thought that the soul of the sinner in Hades is purified by the tortures of hell, and is saved thereby..."

ὄλεθρος — с греческого на все языки

As does p.702 of "A Greek–English Lexicon of the New Testament and Other Early Christian Literature, 3rd ed. (BDAG)":

Yes, as a symbol of the resurrection of Christ but you ignore what I attached as the LSJ source for the word ολεθρος:
