Has anybody done Jeff Cavin's Bible Timeline bible study?

I'm just curious to hear some reviews on it. I kind of jumped in at the last minute on this bible study a friend I went through RCIA with invited me to. It seems interesting, I love history (especially biblical/church history), but it also looks like stuff I learned growing up. Though I think it'll be good to re-learn it in a Catholic context.

Thoughts on the study? Thoughts on Cavin? I'm curious to know more!

I did the study at church. It was good and interesting. It covers such a large span of time that I felt like I would need to go over the material again to really get information to sink in. But, if you're a quick reader, you shouldn't have any problems keeping up.

I saw a show about it on EWTN. It looked great. Beyond that, I have not done anything else. I was going to order the study and got distracted.

My wife and I went through it in an after Mass study group some years ago.
