  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

It is alwasy good to get out in nature. A few Sabbaths ago now I took our two teens up to Cunninghams Gap to walk up Mt Mitchell.

It is so good to be able to go where there is peace and to be able to be a place where there is no noice apart from the passing traffic below.

It gets a bit risky right at the top as the track pass by some very steep and high cliff faces. On one side you have 100's of feet drop and on the other sied a shear clff face and only the track to go on if you want to get to the top.

Two of the boys went right up, I stayed with our young girl, but she wanted to go. At the time I thought it best to wait.

It is currently Sabbath here in the southeastern US, but I want to wish a happy Sabbath to all! :) Tomorrow is special because we have communion at church! I love communion Sabbaths!
Sadly enough, I can't remember the last time we had a communion in our church. Communion Sabbaths always have this special sacred aura around them. Maybe because they are [usually] done only once every quarter.

Happy Sabbath to all. It is still Sabbath here in Eastern Australia.

We had a lovely Sabbath day at our Church.

The visiting speaker was from Western Australia. She had a good messge. Encouraging everyone to appreciate the work that is done by the officers in the Church.

My daughter took most of the Sabbath School program with a power point presentation of her recent travels in P.N.G.

Showing us first hand how our Church and the members are going.

It is hard for them, in fact real hard. Makes us appreciate where we were born.
