CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

My church had about a 20 minute service, envolving, children's singing, chocolates for the mothers, and candle lighting for the non present mothers. Also the sermon, was on mothers example's, and there was a slide show during the offering. Church went way overtime..

Happy Sabbath to everyone and it is a lovely Sabbath morning here in Brsbane.
We have had some good reports of rain falling during tha past week in central New Sout wales and furtehr west as well. Right out to Broken Hill area.
What a blessing it will be for them.

. I had a horrible Sabbath, stuck in bed with the flu.
Some other news that may interest some people:
+Mark Finely is preaching at my church next Sabbath
+My dad has finally come through, and is being baptised next Sabbath
+I've been asked by my youth pastor to help him organise and plan youth group events as the youth group commity.

My Sabbath was very busy yet fun. It started on Friday night with a Baptism, of a lovely lady, into our church, the 5th for the year. Then the final of a series of Seminars by Mark Finely, which is how the baptised lady came to church. Then Saturday was obviously church, then that night a youth social of games which was great.
My church has got more baptims sheduled for the 30th June and 7th July. We're truly growing and bringing people to Christ.
