ALBANY, N.Y. — New York City is challenging a unique legal agreement that requires it to provide emergency housing to anyone who asks for it, as the city’s shelter system strains under a large influx of international migrants who have arrived since last year.

The city filed a request late Tuesday asking a court to allow it to suspend the requirement when there is a state of emergency where the shelter population of single adults increases at a rapid rate.

The grammar schools have police officers assigned. Visitors (e. g. parents) have to jump through hoops to get into the building. Community groups wanting to use the facility can't get in until the last child has been picked up from aerschool care.

They have even posted pictures of the police officer in a kevlar vest while they are in chapel!

Is this the kind of childhood we want our children to have---due to the selfishness of NRA groupies who spend millions lobbying to prevent even the smallest and most innocuous of protection laws?

So if guns aren't the problem, why are you presuming these people are smugglers and cartels? They might have just heard there are so many people with guns who hate them and will shoot them on sight that they want to protect themselves.
