In the fight against fentanyl, DPS has seized over 325 million lethal doses throughout the state.


Operation Lone Star continues to fill the dangerous gaps left by the Biden Administration's refusal to secure the border. Every individual who is apprehended or arrested and every ounce of drugs seized would have otherwise made their way into communities across Texas and the nation due to President Biden's open border policies.

The Biden administration filed a lawsuit Monday asking a judge to order Texas to remove the floating barrier the state put into the Rio Grande to try to block illegal immigration, saying the water wall amounts to illegal construction.

Gov. Greg Abbott welcomed the lawsuit, saying, “Texas will see you in court, Mr. President.”

He defended his actions as a life-saving measure. He said by losing the barrier, more migrants will die attempting to cross the river and that their blood will be on President Biden’s hands.

The Republican governor also teed up a constitutional battle. He said he erected the water wall under authority of the Constitution, which he said grants states the power to repel an “invasion.” He said that’s what the record-breaking migrant surge under Mr. Biden has become.

NYPD charged Baibaia Rodriguez, 20, with resisting arrest, third-degree assault and disorderly conduct after police said the woman “hit an officer with an open hand” during the altercation outside the Stratford Arms Hotel.

Carlos E. Corrales-Ramirez was wanted in connection with a stabbing in Laurel, Maryland, in February and was arrested a month later by the Border Patrol near the border with Canada.

Authorities in New York are wondering why the 20-year-old Honduran illegal immigrant was free in their community on Saturday when, they say, he stabbed and killed another man.

The Border Patrol says it caught Mr. Corrales-Ramirez near Champlain in March and turned him over to the New York State Police. State police said they sent him to the Clinton County Jail to be extradited to Maryland, but court records show Maryland still has an active warrant, indicating he never made it that far.
