Wait! Are you saying he's been convicted of some things that aren't crimes? Why didn't you contact his defence team? They could have used that information.
So, you don't know?

Oh, I expect that subject to get rehashed a bunch, too whether by you or others.

Are you asking this because you don't know, because you don't think we know, or for some other rhetorical purpose?
I don't know and I don't think people on here know.

So, you don't know?
Well, I thought what he was charged with were crimes. You know, people aren't charged with things that aren't. At least I always assumed that. I never actually checked. Lucky for us you did. Do you have any details?

Same question.
I would recommend reading the article then.

The charges are listing the actions he took that violated the law, since they were actions he took as part of his attempts to falsify business records to cover up a case of campaign finance fraud.

Truthfully, I know you aren't actually interested in understanding the reason he was convicted, since you just want to pretend that he did nothing wrong. If you're going to do that, at least put some more effort into your posts.

Indeed.

If Trump had simply admitted to fault in his company's poor accounting practices instead of hating on the judge, the jury, and the media instead of putting up a defense without all the vitriol, he would have gotten off. He got back what he dished out. That was the defense of his choosing. He is to blame for his mess. Justice was served.

Lock him up!
Thanks for proving my point

Where are all of the excuses
I must admit that I like the idea of community service. Be nice if he could help clean up some of NY's subway stations for example. Yes, I do like that...
I would like to see him picking up trash and roadkill on the side of the highway. Do they allow community service workers to pay their butler to pick up trash for them? I think he'd rather rot in jail than do any manual labor even if it was just raking leaves in a beautiful park.

I'm pretty sure he wouldn't allow himself to take orders from anyone at all ever..

I understand you hate Trump and I know that he could never get a fair trial in New York.

He will appeal the then SCOTUS will overturn.
He owns New York. If he can't get a fair trial, he can't get one anywhere. Tell me, are you this skeptical of a jury's ability to come up with a fair verdict on any felony case or just St Trump? He may appeal but has he been granted a new trial yet? No? Then he stays a convicted felon until further notice. It's okay to take comfort in SCOTUS to make decisions based on politics instead of the Constitution. His appointees have done it before. Either way, today the Trump demi-god is a 34-count felon. Can you make your peace with that or do you feel the need to live in denial until his appeal is rejected? Will you believe the justice system? Can the justice system only be trusted when they lock up the poor and minorities? Be honest, I won't judge.

Funny how people trust the justice system when they convict drug dealers and pimps, but it fails when rich white felons are on trial :sorry:

The Party of Law and Order sure gets upset whenever they've run afoul of Law and Order.

His enemies may be laughing at him ...
but his supporters are praying for him, and contributing money to his campaign.

I hope every single left winger has to choke on what they've done.
I coughed and spat it out already. And, if I carried an "own the conservative" mindset I would be SUCH a jerk right now but as it is, I'm actually a bit surprised by 100% convictions. There must have been A LOT of evidence.

As IF I've done anything to contribute to this carriage of justice
Always remember, your Marxist revolution here always always eats it's own.
Check the subreddit leopardsatemyface. I think it's 100% Republicans doing it to themselves.

And there aren't many people perpetrating a "Marxist revoltion"...anywhere, let alone "here".

Am....am I such a closet Marxist I don't even know??
There could be any number of reasons for them to overturn the decision? It could be misconduct by the DA, judge or even jury. It could be that something was allowed to be brought in that should not have been it could be any number of things.
Sure! There could also be the reason that it's a foregone conclusion that Trump was going to appeal because he is mentally unwell and cannot manage thr idea that he does not win at something even at something for which he is so clearly guilty

You mean the error? Did Trump even personally do that?
Several posts ago. You were asking what he was charged with.

Let's please try to avoid a bad faith discussion where we ask fact based questions.

How are these crimes?

Because they're actions that violated the law. That's what a crime is...

In this case, they're violations of New York Penal Law §175.10. Specifically 'Falsifying business records in the first degree'
