Thanks for proving my point
Is your point the fact that MAGA republicans are the most terrified, angry, vindictive and dangerous people in America? I mean, that’s definitely my experience…

I don't know and I don't think people on here know.
Please, this has been explained to you in other threads as well, several times too from what I remember. Using the same "well golly gee, I just don't know what's going on" several times in a row after having been told what the issue is kinda makes the argument lose it's edge and you look silly.

oh lol, that’s right

Something wrong with a system that says that you can be elected to a position for which you aren't allowed to vote.
It's my understanding that Trump will be allowed to vote. FL law says your voting rights are determined by whichever state your crime was committed in. Trump's crimes were in NY and NY allows felons to vote as long as they are not in prison.

Quite right. I stand corrected.

My "good, Christian conservative" family is being very vocal. And frankly it's pretty scary. Hopefully I've hidden my political views well enough, because they're talking about "getting even"...

If they are in any way threatening or so much as insinuating violence on behalf of Trump (or ANY politically-related cause, really), then in my worldview, they aren't behaving like a good Christian and/or conservative at all.

^_^^_^^_^^_^^_^ So many people are steaming mad about these 34 felony convictions. Who will now be their messiah in politics?

Are you kidding? Trump's got some people into such a cult-like state of mind that I don't see how the convictions won't further spur them into drawing parallels between Trump and the actual Man whom I and many other folk here believe to be the Messiah.

We've heard insane comparisons made between the two before because of "unfair" or "abusive" treatment they believe Trump has gotten, after all, haven't we?

That’s what a good portion of Trump supporters are all about. It’s very telling.

I am not even sure Trump COULD get a fair trial. For the record, I would say the same about Biden, Obama anyone like that, but particularly someoe as polorizing as Trump.
But in this case there was no polarism. EVERYONE in that room agreed he was guilty. It would only have taken one dissenting view to save him.

And to be clear he was found guilty on EVERY counts. That’s a guilty rating 34x12! (I think that’s how it works).

Or 408! You have to remember many felons don’t get a guilty rating of higher than 12!

I don't see hatred and love as being mutually exclusive. Typically, hatred is the product of feeling betrayed. I think most people don't like Trump because, as a narcissist, he relies on slandering those who openly disagree with him, and he has shown the ability to manipulate people through this deception, into following his lead.

So, it is ok to put him in jail.

Not for being a narcissist, no.

For 34 felony convictions, though...

-- A2SG, not that I actually think he'll spend a single moment in jail....

The same problem is happening again, that happened in Colorado to take him off the ballot. They had no jurisdiction to try election law. Did he commit a crime for a non disclosure agreement? This is done and has been done by many politicians, business people. This politicizing is ruining this country...

Yeah I believe so. The appeals process will hopefully bring this to an end.
