QM, I heard you hooked up with BP last night? I'll be on tonight...sorry I didn't get on last night. Watched a flick with the Mrs.

I made my own guild, no one is in it except me, infact I just created it just to make a cool looking cape. Eventually I will disband and join a real guild.

I'm in level 20 now and made it to fort Rankor, tonight I'm going to attempt to go to Droknars Forge. I have made a Monk character named Power Pope and will use him eventually cause everyone like monks on their team.

Yes I did play with BP last night got about 1500 XP as a result and got several new cities on my map. And as a result I have like 10 new quests as well. At one point I had to rez BP because things were getting hard for both of us. I'm close to level 14 now too, just a few hundred XP away from it.

Yeah, he never carries a res sig, so be careful of that! He's a cool guy, but doesn't like to dilly dally. Likes to get on and get busy with quests and what not.

Nice name for your char! LOL! Power Pope! That's classic!

We gotta start saving, so we can get a Guild Hall for 90 Platinum (OUCH!!!). BP's got 15...I've only got 1, but I'll start selling and saving all my money from now on unless I HAVE to have something.

What exactly does a Guild Hall entail? Is it just a nice looking large building? What is the benefit of it?

Guild halls are exclusively to guild members. I'm not sure if they are customizable or not. But it seems like everyones crazy about Guild Sigils.

I just logged off, played in the arena and had a 10 game winning streak. The strategy? Always go after the monk, if they have one, first. Kill off the ranged characters first, casters and rangers. Doing that got me 10 games in a row.

9 was my team kill limit. I don't know what you get match after match, you don't get any populatiry points or whatever they're called, I read that those points are for guilds.

Killing the monk is a good idea, but be sure to have some sort of cripple skill to slow them down, same with all castors because the smart ones will run around in a large circle while the rest are hitting you from a ranged distance.

I might be on later today, I got paintball team practice to do to today.

Heres what I did the other day, I just "saved" a character for myself. Necro/Warrior, I'm not going to use much necro skills, if none at all, but he's going to be pure Warrior. I know it sounds crazy, he may not be the best tanker, but now that i know how to play the game right and with the right skills I'm sure he'll be able to hold his own in melee.

I also started a new character for myself which is quite different from my W/Mo, I now have a level 5 N/El. It's actually A LOT of fun attacking from a distance and casting spells.

Monks are desired very much, you can get into most parties easily. But then again it's not hard to find a group period. I tried the ranged attack with my old ranger chracter but it wasn't enough for me, I had to go melee to keep my intrest up.

Do you guys notice now that not every enemy kill drops something? I guess they did this to prevent item farming. Kinda dumb imo. The most fun thing about these games is the treasure hunting.

In Diablo 2, I always played as the Paladin or the Barbarian, never Necromancer or Sorceress, so this is quite the change for me as far as playing style is concerned. I think I could get used to this though.

If you're having trouble running a game, go to start, the game you want to play and right click it. THen go to the compatibility tab at the top and chose run in compatibility mode. THen chose the version of windows that is closest to yours

im now lvl 8 in guild wars, and when do you leave the ashalon area. Their is this big map, but i have only been to a small part of it and am wondering when we get to see the rest. Or is most of the rest unplayable right now, and expansion packs will make it playable.

You can leave Ascalon to go to the Academy whenever you want to assuming you've done all the quests necessary to at least give you that option. But there are many quests you can do even when you have the opportunity to leave Ascalon, which is recommended that you follow through with as many of them as you can find. And I can see that you've probably already done that being level 8. Talk to Sir Tydus I think it is, in Ascalon City, he's up on the hill standing on the pedestal. He should have a green ! and you can leave Ascalon City through him. After that the world gets a whole lot bigger.

Have you joined a Guild yet? If not or even if you have, we have a guild of some people here from CF. It's called Tribe of Judah, ToJ.

I have 2 characters right now, a lvl 15 W/Mo and a lvl 12 N/E. Their names are Quantum Mann and Quantumm Man respectively.

Yeah join our guild, we need more ppl. I'd encourage all CF guild war members to give us a shout sometime.

Right now I'm working on Power Pope, level 3, Im just blazing through the missions. Its so easier the second time around . So I'm thinking level4-5 I'm enter post searing ascalon and just tag with groups and be the healer/archer.

I've been playing Guild Wars since beta and have completed everything! I am in a guild called God's Chosen and I am enjoying it still to this day.

I found out something today. I did something very dumb. But I wanted to try it anyways. I took my level 20 W/R Saint Stephan and took off all the armour/weapons/items and put them in my stash. Now you guys know that once you create a stash, then all characters can access that stash and all your loot. Now my plan was to delete my level 20 W/R Saint Stephan and create a new W/R Saint Stephan. why? because it would be so awesome as a level 3 warrior running around in a level 20 warriors plate mail armour. It didn't work, even with the same name.

So I started off again with my level 3 Saint Stephan. But I do get to use some pretty good weapons and a heavy duty sheild. Heres to trial and error

So what exactly didn't work? Was your level 20 armor in the storage when you started your new character?

I'll be playing tonight, or like in half an hour or so. My secondary character is level 14 now, he might become my "primary" one because I have so much fun playing him rather than my W/Mo.
