Yeah, the expansion packs cost more, but you only have to buy them if you want to have access to those areas and content. Otherwise, you can still play everything you currently have access to.

No expansion packs yet...probably in 5 or 6 months. They've already got some planned. Good ol' Diablo peeps on this!

I haven't checked Ragnarok yet...what's that about?

So I finally got it today in the mail. It's COOL! I like the look of the world, very soft and light, makes it feel like a fantasy. My name in game is "Quantum Mann" since "Quantum Man" was taken already. I only played about 1 hour so far and am level 2, lol. I still have a long way to go. My primary profession is warrior class and secondary that I'm about to learn about is monk.

Yeah I'm working on a 56k connection here and Guildwars just flies! It's so awesome that companies out there go to the extra trouble for us modem users that cannot get broadband connection.

I play a level 16 warrior named Saint Stephan, I haven't played it for weeks but I'm going to give a crack at it tonight. This is one of the best rpgs I've played...

Whoops, nope...it's without the quotes...sorry about that. I'm stuck in a rut...can't get past level 12. I don't have the time for the couple hour quests that I hear will help level you to 20 quick.

Quick note for anyone playing...when you get to the missions where you have to "enter a mission" and get your own instance. Even when you complete it, you can complete it again and again and again to get the xp. I've heard that's a fast way to level up abit.

Another thing I noticed last night. I've got a TON of new skills/spells, but I don't use the same eight I've had in my bar. I look at some of the extras thinking I've got to use them, as they've got to provide something extra for an attack, but they really don't. I've got three fire spells I used to knock a ton of damage down, and then three axe attacks that take a ton a damage if they hit, and then my res sig, and an HP buff.

Finally, I got a new helmet last night...a sweet one...defense is only +50, but it's got some extras to it, like a +1 to axe mastery! Rock on!

Yeah, they are, but you'll get the money quick. Get salvage kits and identification kits...go kill a ton of stuff and salvage/identify it, then sell it. You can make a ton of money quick. Also, just a note, sell all the dye you get if you want some good money. I got 2 platinum for a black dye a while back, and I know it sells for more than that now. I bought some green dye for all my armor a while back, but it looks dumb on my character.
