An unusual day today, the family went bowling; then this afternoon my granddaughter's finger was swollen and looked quite bad. They went to the chemist at Tesco and they sent them to the hospital. What a performance, doctor, tests, and eventually they lanced it and bound it up complete with a sling. I had a running commentary on the mobile phone from her mum. They came back quite happy with a little toy octopus each.
I pray for a good night for them, off home tomorrow. They have had a lovely time and we have enjoyed them too.

It was a great visit, I think they will come back at half term.
I will check out the finger in a day or two when the dressing has been changed.

Prayers for all on the forum - hope you have a good night's rest.
I've spent the past week or so recovering very well. Today I felt well enough to film myself playing one of my own piano compositions. First time I recorded myself playing my new piano.
Will be enjoying a cup of lemon tea on my freshly refurbished "pigeon-proof" balcony and reading Compline before retiring to bed......
