I am so pleased! and a heated swimming pool, wow, sounds good. I love swimming, although it has been a while since I have been.
Sleep tight tonight,

It's the first time I ever tried a sauna and steam room. Very healthy and therapeutic!

Something you don't see much of around here (except Olympic artistic) is synchronized swimming. And nothing at all of those 40s and 50s musicals they dubbed 'aquamusicals', popularized by Esther Williams. My Ruth was on her High School sync-swim team, she too loves the pool.

I remember synchronised swimming in the 1950s. We had holidays centred around an open air swimming baths on the coast, and the highlight was the synchronised swimming, such a delight to watch. :)

Goodnight dear friends,
God bless us all with sleep tonight in Jesus's precious name.
The torch of agreement burns brightly though this tent must now fade from all toil, God bless you in Jesus name!

Psalms 18:46
The Lord lives!
Blessed be my Rock!
Let the God of my salvation be exalted.

This wonderful verse is highlighted by Derek Prince.
"God lives, he is both a Rock and a Saviour.
As a Rock, he is unchanging and impregnable. As a Saviour, he offers forgiveness and eternal security".
As long as God lives, I will live, for God is my life.

my favourite night time verse
Psalms 4:8
In peace I will lay down and sleep,
For you alone, Lord
Make me dwell in safety.

Goodnight dear friends, Peter had his 12 month procedure at the hospital today and they say he is free of cancer. Such a relief,
God bless us all with sleep tonight in Jesus's precious name.

Goodnight everyone.
It's a very quiet night here in Menai Bridge on Anglesey.
This morning, I went to Beaumaris and enjoyed the boat trip to see the puffins, seals and seagulls.
The weather has been hot, but cooled somewhat by the sea breezes.
Having a look around Bangor tomorrow and then getting the train home.

Gosh that sounds great! glad you had a good time, the seals look lovely.
Bangor was where I did my Sacred Music MA. distance learning and when the university students had holidays our class took over. We worked quite hard, and the day ended with sung Compline at around 9pm.
Thursdays were the highlight when we went on pilgrimage, visiting various Churches, each having special features. We sang part of our service in each Church.
I look back fondly and remember the courses, Professor John Harper who worked so hard for us.

I can't think of a better place to study in! :) Bangor is a lovely city and has a nice friendly, relaxed feel to the place. I liked the walk down to the main pier where there were nice views over the Menai Strait.

It's the first time I went to Bangor by rail. A large section of the journey followed the coastline and the sea views were amazing! If I had more time, I would have stopped off at Conwy - maybe another day! :)
