But no one obeys the law.
.
Romans 8 says that is the view of the lost.
3 For what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh, God
did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, on account of sin: He condemned sin in the flesh, 4 that
the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. 5 For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those
who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. 6 For to be carnally minded
is death, but to be spiritually minded
is life and peace. 7 Because
the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be. 8 So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God.
We all understand the view of the lost - we all know why they would view it that way.
Why don't you stop denying Christ and admit you sin, maybe even join a Christian church.
1 John chapter 1 verse 8
If anyone claims to be without sin they deceive themselves and the truth is not in them.
James chapter 2 verse 10
If anyone keeps the whole law and yet stumbles at just one point is guilty of breaking all of it.
Your response to a post of Romans 8 is "Why don't you stop denying Christ "??
Seriously??
1 John 2:3-6
3 Now by this we
know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments. 4 He who says, “I know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. 5 But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him. 6
He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked.
1 John 5:2-3
2
By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and keep His commandments. 3 For this is
the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome.
1 John 3:4 "Sin IS Transgression of the LAW"
Romans 3:19-20
19 Now we know that whatever the
law says, it says to those who are under the law, that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God. 20 Therefore by the deeds of the law no flesh will be justified in His sight,
for by the law is the knowledge of sin.
Matt 19
17 So He said to him, “Why do you call Me good? No one
is good but One,
that is, God. But
if you want to enter into life, keep the commandments.”
18 He said to Him, “Which ones?”
Jesus said,
“‘You shall not murder,’
‘You shall not commit adultery,’
‘You shall not steal,’
‘You shall not bear false witness,’
19 ‘Honor your father and
your mother,’
and, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ ”
