Are there any other contenders for this title other than Yorkshire.

Derbyshire must be in with a chance (but then I'm biased):p

Mount Zion?

1 Great is the Lord, and most worthy of praise,
in the city of our God, his holy mountain.
2 Beautiful in its loftiness,
the joy of the whole earth,
like the heights of Zaphon is Mount Zion,
the city of the Great King.
3 God is in her citadels;
he has shown himself to be her fortress.

Psalm 48.

Lets not be forgetting Yorkshire is the home of Elland Road and the home of cricket too!

Exactly, and what could be a more holy place than Elland Road?

Louis Le Prince also filmed the world's first moving pictures in Leeds, and without TV, God wouldn't have his own TV station 'GOD TV', so by that extension... Gotta weigh it all up.

And if you prefer traditional media for worship, who's going to try and rival York Minster!?

Louis le Prince's first moving pictures can be seen here, taken on Leeds bridge in 1888 Leodis - a photographic archive of Leeds - Home Page Not very long tho!
