  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

"As the sand of the sea," in Genesis 22:17 & Genesis 32:12 has been estimated to represent one quintillion grains of sand.
I thought you were going to use the KJV to prove the KJV.

The Word of God is built on these doublet of days found in the KJV Bible. In fact, the demonstration Paul gives us in 2 Peter 3:3-8, is his representation of this doublet of days; it ends on the fourth day, with his instruction for us of the twenty-first Century.
I've no idea what you are talking about. I don't see the 21st century mentioned anywhere in the passage.

That is because you don't understand 2 Peter 3:3-8. The 21st century is mentioned with the word, "beloved."

The everlasting is mentioned with the words, "Knowing this first;" the first day is mentioned with, "days" in 2 Peter 3:3; this is
"from the beginning," as mentioned in 2 Peter 3:4. The second day is mentioned with, "overflowed with water, perished", in 2 Peter 3:6, which makes 2 Peter 3:7 the third day, and "beloved" the fourth day. Therefore the two times, "day" occurs in 2 Peter 3:8, represents the fifth and the sixth day.

That's your interpretation. And nowhere in all of that does it state that the KJV is the perfect translation.

Yes, it all came from the apostle Paul. 2 Peter 3:15-16
You are quickly losing your argument. Even giving you the benefit of the doubt, you make no sense.

Okay, what about, Revelation 22:18-19. Sounds perfect to me.

Okay, what about, Revelation 22:18-19. Sounds perfect to me.
18 For I protest unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book;

19 And if any man shall diminish of the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy City, and from those things which are written in this book.

That's from the Geneva Bible.

Well, I know there are some people that just can't get this perspective. Don't worry about it, it's not import
So he's referring to himself in the 3rd person?
I give all the credit to Paul for this interpretation. Ephesians 3:3-4

I give all the credit to Paul for this interpretation. Ephesians 3:3-4

What does this have anything to do with who wrote 2nd Peter and the fact that Paul is referred to as "our brother" and "him", "his".

You have evidence of this, correct? If so, please present the evidence (not some wildly interpreted verse that you post).
