You must have a claw in your paw about millions of Christians around the world, then.
None of the verses you've posted indicate that Jesus believes Genesis should be interpreted as you do. None of them present the conflict between the Bible and modern science that you and your ilk have unnecessarily perpetrated to the detriment of God's greatest creation - the human mind, which is meant to have the vitality of curiosity and to be exercised with the pursuit of knowledge. That conflict is a fallacy created by reading the Bible in a manner that goes beyond literal to the presumption that there is only one correct way to interpret the texts. Your narrow interpretation forms a sieve that strains out the marrow of Genesis.
Your habit of quote mining further demonstrates that you place more of an emphasis on the literalism of words than the intentions of their meaning. Creationist sites perpetually butcher texts, unethically severing all needed context to understand what was fully said, why, and what the speaker / writer actually meant. It's so disrespectful and tacky. Lazy creationists on here just copy and paste quotes from those sites without making any honest attempt to verify their authenticity. It's chopping up the whole truth into processed nuggets. Maybe what those men meant is reflected by what you quoted of them, but since you've proven to be an untrustworthy source of information in the past I'm not going to just accept these quotes at face value now or in the future.
So.....quoting someone's complete and full statement, who is educated and respected in a related and relevant science, when they publicly state their personal view, in something in a way that is contrary to other peoples view in order to support your own is "quote mining"?
I thought that quote mining was when you took parts or portions of a quote, carefully chosen, in order to support your opinion, when in actual fact, if the whole statement was taken in the context it was originally intended, your point would not be supported at all and may if fact be refuted.
There goes any chance of quoting any intelligent educated, verified statements on any and every topic, in order to support any argument.
Also, you can rule out any text, document, thesis, essay, book, memoirs, speech, encyclopedia or journal because...they are all quotes of someone.
SO,,, I guess, it's just going to be "what do you say" cause you cannot use any other source or its "quote mining"
