Jade, I hope you're reading this thread and understanding it as an example of simple questions leading to an inquisition.

Actually I'm getting more of a 'Don't ask AV questions that he can't answer with a pithy one-liner or you'll be blatantly ignored' moral to this story.

After all, you've been answering questions with just about every post you make, so you obviously don't have a problem with 'inquisition' in general. Just hard questions that make you think.

Prove me wrong.

Won't happen... Besides, AVET loves the idea that he is being persecuted by an inquisition.

If your interpretation of the Bible is wrong, should you change it?

I'm not going to claim I'm fully persuaded, while at the same time claiming my interpretation is fallible, just to placate an inquisition.

So you;ve never changed your mind about your own religious beliefs? After all, changing your mind would mean that your original interpretation was mistaken, yes? And only fallible things are ever acknowledged as being mistaken.
