You need to explain the meaning of "good" in the statement "God is good." To do that, you need to explain (1) if and why a sovereign God actually WANTS INNOCENT women and children to die horrible deaths from natural disasters that God presumably decrees and then (2) precisely what God's goodness means in that context.

And as I added to another post above, the Bible was compiled over centuries, and the Gospel writers in their narratives don't read as if they were there or even knew anyone who was an eyewitness.
