• CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
 • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Ok, I just wanna see who all here likes Godzilla. And I'm not talking about the Godzilla starring Matthew Broderick in New York. I'm talking about the GOOD 'ol Godzilla movies from Japan that have ToHo in the beginning. Those movies rock! I grew up watching Godzilla. We have like over 40 hours of Godzilla movies. I don't know exactly how many movies that is, but it's a lot baby! My two favorites are "Godzilla vs. MechaGodzilla" and of course the classic first one from 1954 starring the Perry Mason guy, "GODZILLA: King of All Monsters". So, who else likes Godzilla or at least knows who he is? Or am I the only weirdo who will voluntarily watch a Godzilla movie?

Woo Hoo! I'm not alone in the world! lol You gotta love the power line smashing. And when he's by those fake huge cool looking Japanese houses on a hill and just takes his fist right through them, or the monster he's fighting pushes him back into one... I think I'm gonna go watch one now lol.

the new one didn't look any more real to me, it was just fake in a different way, instead of a guy in a suit you get a flat-feeling digital fake painted on to the scenery, same diff, 6 of one, half dozen of another (I always write two dozen and have to correct myself)

I agree with WaterWizard. You can't go wrong with a guy in a rubber suit (who's name is Ken by the way. So my dad and I call Godzilla, Ken. Same with the Swamp Thing's name being Larry, and Jaws being Bruce). But the beauty of Godzilla is that it is obvious and cheezy. Although, "Godzilla 2000", which we so affectionately call "Godzilla vs. The Space Nose", that was a pretty good. Funny, still some good cheese, but good. It's good quality time to spend with a relative pulling some MST3K type thing. But yeah, the first is always better. Like Alfred Hitchcock's "Psycho". That's a pretty cool movie too...

Has anyone ever noticed that in every Godzilla movie, someone in the voice over's calls him, "Godziller"? Just a piece of useless information.
