~Interesting Factoid #1: I seem to have the daVinci bug, as I'm an engineer who does complicated technical things at work, yet composes music, writes poetry, and plays with mock-gourmet cooking and digital photography and art (landscape architecture, graphic layouts, human factors, etc)
~Interesting Factoid #2: I live in Colorado, love seeing the mountains, think they are awesomely beautiful and refreshing ... and hardly ever get up there.
~Interesting Factoid #3: Rarely get hungry, and forget to eat - therefore I have my PalmPilot remind me about meals. It's like a natural weight loss system, only problem is that you can end up feeling a bit gray if you're not eating enough.
~Interesting Factoid #4: I am pretty laid back, both in personality in color choices (even the idea of hot pink is pretty intense for me, bath mats or no - how hot is hot pink? Pink is one thing - neon glow in the dark pink?). I tend to be more constantly deep, committed, and enjoying life than intense having to take life by the scruff of the neck.
~Interesting Factoid #5: I'm a builder, not a fighter or lover type. The fighters beat the world into submission and live for conflict, and the lovers set the world on fire, always having to be on fire. Builders patiently craft life into something beautiful, taking however long it takes, and enjoying the process.
~Interesting Factoid #6: Protecting my manliness after the last factoid, I can hold my own, having trained to just below black belt in TKD and work out at the gym regularly. I'm not a fan of personal or emotional combat situations - I can deal with it, but it takes a lot of energy when there are better ways to get things done.
~Interesting Factoid #7: I've had a fear of falling, but enjoy rapelling several times, am fine up in a tree, anywhere I have something to hold on to. I fly in planes fine - it's a continuing process. No hang-gliders, parachutes, or rollercoasters (coasters mess up my sense of balance).
~Interesting Factoid #8: Already at the house stage - live in a 3 bedroom bungalow. Sometimes I take at-home vacations over the Christmas holidays and sleep in a different bedroom to make it different.
~Interesting Factoid #9: Generally can't get house plants to live - constantly surprised that the geranium I bought 5 years ago is still alive.

~Bonus Factoid 2: Introvert yet like spending time with people one on one, can't talk concepts without a pen in my hand, and am open and willing to talk about just about everything for hours on end as long as its friendly.

I'm glad I can't stop what He would have planned for my life, because He knows what's best for me, I only see a part of the picture of my life, while He sees it as a whole. That's why I always try to leave my life fully in His hands (though, I often times try and steal things back, I make an effort to let Him have the reigns in everything...)
