I lived in Saskatchewan for 6 years... in a small town outside of Regina.. called Moose Jaw. One morning, it was -75 with the windchill. something like -42 without... bloody rediculous if you ask me.. and there was still school that day.. now I laugh at the people here in toronto who complain about -15(my girlfriend being one of them.. she grew up in India and Egypt... poor girl...
I lived in Moose Jaw for a couple years (when I was like 2) and I have pics of me bundled up in a very bulky snowsuit with my eyelashes turned into icicles on the way to preschool! I'm glad I don't have to go through that anymore - But I wish we still lived in that house - a beautiful early-1900's house with stained glass in every room! I'm in TO now, and it's true - people complain about the silliest things sometimes (but not everyone does - there is some hardy stock out here - probably mostly transplants thought
