The wicked who fight Him will have another fate. Only after they are gone will there be peace. All men were slated to die, but Jesus came to rescue as many as would accept and believe in Him.

Explain how Jesus returned to earth long ago? You see when all these things begin to happen, that will be one of them. Also oceans turning to blood, stars falling, 100 pound hailstones falling, more than half the population dead, bottomless pit opened and demons streaming up killing people, an earthquake that moves every island on earth away from where it is, etc. Didn't happen. So we know that this package deal of events that culminates with the return of Jesus to earth all happen in a span of several years. Anyone claiming these things happened in history would be easy to laugh at. Now it is true that some people get too excited and claim that some event is starting like the mark of the beast. Because the technology has arrived where it is possible now. But any rational look at the specific cluster of prophesies to be fulfilled in a short short time once they begin tells us that they have not happened. We also know that once the BEGIN to happen, all will happen quickly like a woman in labor.
