So you will hurt poor woman and deny them health care?

Showing your true colors there.
Abortion isn’t health care, nor is it “reproductive rights”.

Those are euphemisms to hide what abortion truly is; baby murder.

At the same time, Planned Parenthood is the only place where some girls and women can get any female-oriented health care. In some cases, for miles. Shutting them down is punishing them and in some cases forcing them to never get the care they need.

Never mind the abortion, ignoring the rest of what PP does and punishing women by shutting them down shows the true colors of the "Pro-life" movement.

Nope! I will not support a truly evil organization such as PP. women deserve better!!
Just because part of its care is abortions? You are ignoring all the other good things they do for poor women and girls whose parents never take them to a gynecologist.

You are blinded by one issue and are willing to hurt more women just for that one issue.

You use a dysphemism in a sentence complaining about euphemisms?

Neat.

Yes, because of abortions, which is immoral. I cannot in good conscience support them based on that reason alone. No, I am not "blinded" by one issue or ant to hurt women based on this issue.

Abortion has never been health care. I'm in full agreement with you. It's murder. Plain and simple.

Respectfully, I wonder how you interpret the OT as an atheist. Hmmm...
Where it says that God did this or God did that then I obviously discount that. It didn't happen as far as I am concerned. But I am interested if others treat some of of the stories as being factual. And not metaphors intent on persuading people that He is a vengeful God and must be obeyed - or else.

Case in point the flood where He killed the unborn and the Amalek children.

I take it you’re an atheist who uses the NIV.
My family bible (dating from 1790) is obviously the King James version. I prefer it over other versions. Reading a modern version is like reading Shakespeare in a modern idiom. 'Poor old Yorick, eh? Yeah, I knew the guy quite well. He was a funny dude.' Ugh.

Depends how you interpret it. God saw Israel as the apple of his eye and would protect her at all cost. It doesn’t mean he didn’t love anyone else.

I've told you how I interpret it. My problem is with people who interpret it literally. It means that they truly believe that if God tells them to do something, then however horrifying it might appear to be, it's acceptable.

Some people fly planes into buildings because they think it's what their God wants.
