This should occupy our thoughts, fill our hearts, and come flowing out of our mouths.

Can you blame a brother for NOT wanting to discuss the LORD'S words with someone who's not even reading the LORD'S words ENOUGH or IN CONTEXT.

"False teaching" is something NOT found in scripture.

IF the LORD said it, it's TRUE, and anyone who opposes it is a liar (Romans 3:4).

3. Ask the LORD what HE means?

Wouldn't that make a better discussion than trashing what someone believes?

1. Agreeing to disagree would help to a great degree (Amos 3:3, 2 Timothy 2:14).

2. Reading the Bible cover to cover at least once a year, AND discussing it WITH the LORD, would cause us all to come MORE into agreement (Joshua 1:8, Psalm 1:2, 2 Timothy 2:15).

3. Deciding NOT to speak evil of others would also help.

We can't change others, but we certainly can fellowship with the LORD and see HIS power change us from the inside out.

One of the participants in the thread replied to my comments using the reputation system. I'm not going to name them, nor quote what they said because that sort of thing is obviously private.

There's little point in having a conversation if replies are going to be made in private, and accusations are going to be made in ways that make it very difficult to reply without posting private comments.

If people want to talk I'm happy to talk. If you want to make accusations against me in ways that are difficult to address (there is no "reply" to a rep comment) then I'd just ask why you chose that mode of communication.

If the person concerned would like to repost their comments here I will gladly address them.

Each man has his own opinion, but has a choice to lay it down and side with the LORD'S words.

We quote scripture to you, and you don't take the time to discuss it with the LORD.

You need to take scripture more seriously than you do.

Why don't you say: "More religion throughout the world, or less?"

Any Christian can "write right" to that kind of question.

Saying "More wof or less?" promotes hatred towards another group.

Your "pointed" words create a "pointed" thread, with "pointed" posts by all.

This forum is: "Spirit Filled / Charismatic Debate A subforum where WOF and non-WOF may discuss their different theological ideas."

Saying "More or less wof in the world?" isn't discussing a theological idea.

It's targeting an entire group of people.

Been here going on 13 years. I was on AOL debate before that for 12 years. 25 years debating these topics. Nothing has changed. The same arguments are being leveled as 25 years ago.
Is anyone accomplishing anything?
I used to think so.
Perhaps some Word is being distributed. That is good.
I would only get involved if someone had sincere questions desiring answers.
I will say the Lord's prayer is not an optional requirement.
We are most certainly to pray that His will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
All please take care that in the midst of discussion you find yourself on the wrong side of the words of our Lord!
