Me and my friends about 6years ago where 'fighting' with these other kids they stole are hockey glove so one of my friends stole there hat to get it back and we pee'd in there hat (dont ask) after we did that they gave our glove back but we still countied to 'fight' with eachother ie. egging eachother's houses and other stuff. Should i replace the hat that we ruined?

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

He took the hat back. I am guessing he washed it already. But he might have trashed it.

Well then kind of feel out the situation. If he still mad about the hat then replace it. If he doesn't remember or care then, let it go. Just don't let something like a hat be the reason for someone to have a grudge against you.

I doubt he still cares about it. I dont talk to him anymore not becuase of the hat but we just dont talk anymore no reason really.

Sorry, I couldn't resist. I'm sure they hardly missed the hat, but were more upset over the whole situation... if you guys played hockey together, they lost friends to play against. It would be a really nice gesture to get him a new hat -- more like a peace offering, remembering old times, admitting that you went beyond fair limits. It could turn out to be a really nice conversation.
