Well, that's weird. I just tried it again and did get 404 for each of them this time. Before, I could even download the datasets. I opened one just to see if it was about same-sex marriage and that was included.

I am doing you the courtesy of showing you that I'm not simply making all this up. I am showing you that there are web pages which each confirm the point I am making. Every quote I have given you and every link which shows where those quotes come from have been irrefutable evidence of that point.

The three links that don't work are likewise irrefutable evidence that Trump has ordered that all government sites that even mention gender identity must be taken down. Irrefutable evidence because those sites have been closed. The links do not work. And only the ones that reference gender identity have been taken down.

This cannot be made any clearer. Trump has said what he wants done regarding gender ideology. The White House has said it. The departments that have been affected have reported on it. The sites that referenced it have been shut down. Literally nobody is denying this. They are, in fact, spending a lot of time saying 'Hey, look what we did!'

Saying that it hasn't happened is just perverse...

Do people like those you describe exist in government? Yes, and I would venture to guess my opinion of them is worse then yours since they affect me regularly. However I would say they are the exception rather then the rule. I think most of us who work in government try very hard to work for the betterment of the citizens.

The difference is palpable if you've ever lived in a country that really has a poor civil service, and you have to slip every clerk some cash just to get them to do their jobs.

For one example I wonder why we spend 1.5 billion dollars annually for an A.T.F. which does nothing that other law enforcement agencies don't already do, and which murders innocent people at Ruby Ridge and Waco. As I said, some employees are useless, others are positively detrimental.

I'm saying the people are separate from the government. You may see the work I do as wasteful (though i doubt it. As IT I support critical infrastructure) but that does not make me a waste as a person. I call this out because I have seen a whole lot of hatred directed at government workers, not because of who they are as people, but because of the role they fill in their job. I don't think the people are deserving of the venom directed their way.

Or...Critical Race Theory and Critical Gender Theory ideology has been worked more deeply into the curriculum than I realize.

As an example in another area where the same things are happening, I got bamboozled for a short time when it was reported that the Air Force suddenly had removed the Tuskegee Airmen from its Air Force Basic Training curriculum, ostensibly because this same Executive Order. As it turned out, the Air Force had delayed teaching that block of training for a couple of weeks to make sure it conformed to the new guidelines, then the training was put back into the program with no recruit having missed it.

I don't know from the reporting if this isn't merely the same situation in the DoDSS schools.

I read a FEW articles about this and all the reporting is not exactly consistent. YES books are being held back. Reporting is unclear as to whether every.single.book. is getting reviewed or JUST ones where people might learn about "differences" between people and how to handle them. Most articles are suggesting the latter.

OH, NO NO NO NO NO. Don't make this mistake. People ARE government. If you think of the word "government" you may associate it with mental images of white buildings with Greek columns or stacks of papers, but buildings and papers don't make decisions. Like soylent green, government is people.
