Oh come on Carey, let us be realistic here.. No one is going to use this stupid chip. It is something that has existed for 50 years, but it is just now being discussed.. and mainly by the neo Christians who actually believe it is going to happen.

No one is going to have this stupid chip in them. Nor is anyone going to make someone do such. If anything, it would be put in criminals to catch criminals who escape and to help officers locate where criminals like pedophiles are.

It is a bit different would'nt you agree if all Governments required the chip

for security purposes and/ or global warming to reduce energy used to create cards money paper trail etc.

There could be many reasons to justify mandatory chipping.

I guess the question is what do you think of mandatory chipping.

For satellite tracking anytime soon, you'd need a GPS receiver with an antenna much too large to fit in such a chip, plus a means to reatransmit the positional information to some sort of network (such as a cellular network) also needing an antenna too large to fit in that package, and a power source of non-trivial capacity.

The limit of the chips mentioned in the video and subsequent posts is the readout of an ID number from a reading device which needs to be very close to the chip itself.

I think there are potential benefits from it. Many conspiracy theorists will probably call it The Mark, or think the government is tracking them, but I doubt the government is going to be tracking where people's children are going, unless they have a lot of time on their hands.
