CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Lot made some excuses though. Didnt he? Oh it wasnt that bad, i will just live amongst these fornicators and not be affected. They make a good living and the land is so fertile. My daughters will grow up normal. You cant stop people having sex with each other. Ok.

I think workplaces are the worst for sexual harassment.
Not much you can do if its your boss thats eyeing you up. Well you can quit I suppose.
I dont think men on here truly understand what ladies go through in life. One of my friends pretty much had her life cut short cos of fornication. Coming out of a party lifestyle was difficult for her.
If you grow up in a culture where fornication is encouraged then its hard go flee from if its iN YOUR OWN HOME.

Goodbook, these are very difficult times to endure, because of the increase of lawlessness. I would like you to know too, that it is difficult to be a man looking for an innocent smile, when the woman's accusation is rendered before eye contact is even made.
Anyhow.. keep your chin up! Many such words are being manifest to convict the wrong and bring them for God's righteous judgement
There is yet a lot of work to do, and the workers are few.I read of Lot in 2 Peter 2:8 this morning and remembered you. Isn't that interesting?

I think your off in the weeds on this one.....
If a christian couple is dating and is not dating other people both of them would say they are in a relationship. To assert that this means they are fornicating or that it is a form of that.... I just think your way, way out of bounds.

americans just have a different vocabulary that's not even proper english, I wouldn't worry about it, since I don't live in america.

Like 'free love' for hippies means you bonking each other all the time.
But love for Christians is free anyway and comes from God above. Totally different. Our definition of love you can read in Chapter 13 of 1 Corninthians.
When you hold to that definition of love, what the devil says love is not even that. And I don't know anyone who indulges in fornication that would actually be patient. Because obviously they didn't do the decent thing and you know -WAIT.

In high school my best friend Tom.. we would sneak out .. pffft get high drink steal things...at night. Well one day Christ found me. Now what I did is not what is written. Yet as in all things if we are blind there is no sin. Jesus said..if you were blind you would have no sin. You say you see your sin remains.
So I keep hanging around him. I never new what the word say about this. So what I use to do I didnt..he would but still he was my best friend. He didnt treat me any different. One nght drinking or not..I truly dont remember. What remember clearly is him.. saying the sinners prayer...he would only do it if I was not looking at him or see him.
That is not the best or right way for sure but God will always use what we do turn it around for HIS glory.
Jesus is REAL! No.. HE IS REAL! Talk to Him.. listen to Him..I dont care what any person says.. Jesus said.. my sheep KNOW My voice. Jesus came to call the sinner to repent. See when I was young my reason was I still wanted Tom as my best friend. That was not GODS way.
If it was me.. I would just speak.. tell them.. about this GOD that sent His son..I dont care how many times they heard it
Tell them that is my path now..I can not walk another. If you wish to follow HIm.. you can walk with me. But.. I can not walk your path any more

Ah, thank you. I can see the case for a specialty from these, but they could also be referring to simply the symptoms of having the evil spirit rather than a specialty of said spirit. For instance, the spirit may be capable of inflicting any number of maladies, but in the case of the mute boy, simply made him mute. I see room for either interpretation. What they don't teach though, is that there is a spirit of lust. Since a number of Christians who have struggles seem to fixate on that, which we don't even know from Scripture if it exists or not, I don't like to emphasize it. What we do know is that we have plenty of lust ourselves (James 1:14-15).

Yea we walking on different paths, if we christians choose the narrow way and everyone else is going the broad highway to hell its in the opposite direction!
I mean who is willingly going to go to Krd. (Red light district) You would just completely avoid the area. The tricky thing is when you walk in your neighbourhood for example and someone sets up a brothel near a school. Or God forbid, near church.

Not necessarily. A guy I know (my favorite SBC pastor) Charles Simpson was telling about an evangelical crusade he he held in a Southern US city. (don't remember which one) After his message one evening a huge guy with dozens of tattoos came forward to receive Christ. He did and experienced a wonderful change. This guy told him - Pastor after you are done with this meeting I gotta take you to share this with my girlfriend. So Charles said OK.
A while later, Charles found himself on the back of a huge motorcycle riding thru the city. After a length ride, they stopped in front of a large fleabag motel looking building. They went inside and the woman at the desk said to wait a few minutes. Charles slowly became aware he was sitting in the lobby of a brothel. The guy's girlfriend was working that evening as a prostitute and they were waiting for her next vacancy.
About a half hour later she comes out to the lobby and after greeting her boyfriend, he starts to tell her what had just happened to him and then introduces Charles who gives her the gospel. He led her to the Lord right there in the brothel.

Yes a pastor may go to a brothel to preach the gospel but a woman will not go unless shes going to witness to the women there if she goes alone its likely shes going to be picked up by the men.
