Forgiveness Sunday

As I will be off to Liturgy followed by Forgiveness Vespers in an hour, I want to start this thread now

My brothers and sisters

Please pray for me, the great sinner and forgive me all my sins against you, be these in thought, word or deed. Let there be no anger between us.

I have nothing to forgive, obviously, but I pray for you to be forgiven, and for me and for all.

It's interesting, this is all we have in the calendar for this Sunday in Romania (my translation):
Beginning of the Holy Pascha Fast
St. Leon, Bishop of Rome
Sunday of the banishment of Adam from Heaven
Beginning of fast for meat
Apostle Romans XIII, 11-14; XIV, 1-4
Gospel Matthew VI, 14-21
Voice (tone) 4

Which is almost the opposite in a way, because "We commemorate the banishment of Adam from Heaven before the Holy Fast to show us why fasting is useful/gainful to human nature, by contrast with how great is the sin of self-indulgence and disobedience."

Is it 'officially' called Forgiveness in other Churches? What gives?

But obviously we have Matthew 6:14-21 which starts with forgiveness, and (theoretically) the little forgiveness ceremony at the end of Vespers, but unfortunately that is only held in few parish churches :/
