You're greatly mistaken,

he was the one that said, "PreacherFergy's argument is weak." <---is this not flaming!?

He just made a statement and he didn't attempt to support it.

If you read the whole post you'll see I explained why your argument is weak. I said that the Bible does not pass judgement on secular music as you seem to think. You are also extrapolating parts of scripture and forcing a meaning onto it where it is open to interpretation (Philipians 4:8 springs to mind).

Your profile says that you are a YEC. Where I am from that is fundamentalist.

Would you please define this for me...perhaps I am misreading. I've always believed fundamentalists to be conservative with regards to scripture...holding God's word over dogma and rituals.

Fundamentalism has drifted from meaning "accuracy of the Bible and solid theology" to being a catch-all for some very, to put it kindly..eccentric individuals and views, and lifestyles.

YEC is definitely a conservative thought...placing a literal interpretation of Genesis over what mainstream scientists believe. That being said, I am YEC as well.

Ok, this is a SECULAR music forum, so maybe I can post this without it being edited? I wrote this song in 1983, while I was not only unsaved, but was in the occult as well. But maybe it did just have a message after all ~ It was called "Heavens Full of Lies"

If you read between the lines you'll see it actually told the truth about what would happen if you followed the devil, and that it is Satan who tries to convince people that heaven is a lie. The question is, how many Christians actually believe that lie? We need to discern the spirits more carefully.

Its funny because when I was an ultra legalistic fundy conservative, I believed in the gap theory and theistic evolution!.... for the most part.
God showed me the way out of the legalistic bondage of super-conservativism, and I became kind of liberal for awhile. This is when I began studying YEC, and I believe in it because of its being scientific fact, not because fundies believe it. Facinating.

I've been accused of being a fundy by some liberal Christians, pagans, & atheists ~ I've been accused of being a false prophet, a witch, and deceived by some fundamentalists.

And I listened to some secular music last night, but it wasn't rock or metal. It was folk/blues~ www.agonahardison.com
