Food cheating

I had no idea what it was is why I asked because I thought the same thing. Like it was similar to a Micky Mouse popsicle at Disneyworld only made like Pluto.

Yeah it looks the same, but I'm going to ask a silly question, why is it a corn dog if there isn't any corn in it?
I guess pluto pup isn't a very descriptive name either
Isn't it funny, the differences between the countries!
My favourite is thongs, over here they are shoes, I think they are your flip flops. But you guys must think it is funny when we say that they were wearing thongs, or going to buy some thongs!

Corndogs are called that because you use cornmeal in the mix

I'd love to have one, but to make a gluten free kosher one is just so not worth the effort right now.... I'd have to travel to a friend of mine in Bayern (near München) so she could get me some Hebrew National hotdogs, and then I'd have to make the cornmeal batter.... nah, I can do without for now.

Here's the traditonal recipe that I'd have to tweak:

1 cup corn meal
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 cup milk
2 tablespoons melted shortening
1 pound frankfurters
Wooden skewers

1. Mix corn meal with flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Add egg and milk; blend in melted shortening. Mix well.
2. Skewer frankfurters and dip in batter. Stand skewer-side up and fry in deep-fat fryer at 350*F (175*C) until golden brown, about 2 or 3 minutes. Drain on paper towels and serve hot.

Makes 8 servings.

I have been so much better with my diet this week. Although i don't fee; better for it. I actually feel alot worse eating healthily!! How strang is that. I feel better when i am eating fast food... mmm... cheesburgers... (i crave those all the time!!!)
But it is really better for me and Kaboose if i eat properly... even if i don't feel as well.
I am finding now that i can't eat as much in a sitting as I used to be able to... i eat smaller meals more frequently now...

Maltesers... i crave those too they are so yummy!!!

Man, now I want a cheeseburger!

I have been haveing a McChicken with extra sauce and fresh onion each time I work a late shift this last week.
I resisted the urge tonight though!

McChickens were what i craved in early pregnancy, I couldn't touch a cheeseburger... But now i love them both again!!!

mmm I had a McChicken today for lunch!

I am so much bigger now then I was last time around! And I am already starting to get uncomfortable when I bend over!

Oh, we may come up to your work on the weekend if I can get out of bed! I am working 5 in a row then have a day of classes! I'm tired already. I did a late last night and a Morning today.

Every since Beth mentioned a Wendy's frosty I have craved one, so for the past 2 days I've stopped & gotten a small one. Mmmmm I use to never eat those either but now yuummo!

Welp, my eating habits have gone downhill. I'm eating fries, cheeseburgers, sweets & still those darn frosties. And I've eaten some trukey cold cuts sandwhiches at home. Yuuuum! I do try to jsutify some things & say well say with a burger I'm eating cheese with the thing. I could only tolerate sooo much chicken. I so don't think the vegetarian lifestyle is for me. Oh & I bought some turkey hot dogs to which I had never seen before to make some chili cheese dogs!

I've been craving horrible food too! I've been pretty good about my eating habits, but goodness! I've been dreaming about fruit loops, ice cream, and spicy pork rinds. I've been eatting the pork rinds, but not tons of them. They're pretty tasty with chocolate milk (sad, I know.)

One good thing is that I have been craving smoothies, so I have indulged in those (blackberries, yogurt, ice, and a little milk to wet'r down).

Hehe... i went through a stage of craving fruit-loops!!!

At the moment i'm not craving mcuh of anything. I've been sick with a stomach bug. I'm just finding it really hard to actually eat anything at all. I know that i have to eat... its just that i'm really scared its going to send me off to the bathroom again.

I could do a smoothie though... that would be nice. But the bad thing is the closest place to here that does them is 1/2 hour away... grrr...

hahah I've gone thru my share of Apple Jacks & Lucky Charms. I bought some fruit to make smoothies with too it's the making them part that is the problem.

Stink. It's almost Easter, and I just bought some Cadbury mini robins eggs. Why are they so good! Maybe if I hide them...hmmm or I could just eat them, and then they would be go. Will eat a few more while thinking about it.

I just found out my most favorite junk food is now off the list for me.

It contains additive E120 (Carmine/Cochneal) ... M&Ms!

Mars was my FAVORITE company until just this second. I'll be firing off an email to them. I had been getting like 3-4 bags of the stuff every month to have on hand, and now I find I can't have it. They're Kosher state-side, but not here! Why oh WHY does the EU have to play around with food stuff and hide bug-parts in every candy I decide is yummy?

I guess I need to go to school and learn to be a confectioner, because I'll not be getting my favorite chocolates otherwise. Even "Smarties" (Candy from the UK created same time as M&Ms) are off limits

I guess I know what I need to ask my mom to bring in her 'care package' If she has room in her suitcase.. I can just see them now in customs scratching their heads over why she 'needs' so many bags of M&Ms... LOL

I've never had the whoppers ones. These are just Cadbury (sp) milk chocolate covered in a candy shell (like big M&Ms, only higher quality chocolate). They look just like eggs in pastel and taste like heaven.
